If i get fund,i will try for thesis based otherwise project based.
if i show 24600+ 1 year tuition fee $6763.65 that means $31363.65 as liquid (around 26 lacs)
then is it will be ok for visa?(i have consult with my father and he says he can show this liquid money before december).
i think i can manage one year living cost by doing part-time job.
Could you please tell me about university of manitoba and university of victoria?
is there any possibilities that VO will check my bank statement in detail(how much transaction i have every month and how much amount)

Better not to hurry... r self funded naki university funded everything will be clear once you start talking to your prospective professors... they will guide you... you have time... spend 2/3 months on exploring what is right for you... InshAllah bhalo kichhu hobey... r one thing... kono specific university target na korey 2/3 ta try koren (ek ek university-r ek ek funding policy thake)... All the best...

I have submitted MY application for Canada through Vfs in April 10th. I got mail to do my medical at 30th April and Submitted my Passport at 1st May. Now its 4th June and still not getting any response from Vfs

Saifur, I am fully agreed with t119 and mgmbbd. uRegina is a very good choice other then the rough weather of Saskatchewan. Which course type u choose? I got acceptance with funding from uRegina too in M.Sc. Computer Science (Thesis). So, I have a bit knowledge about it.

There r three types of M.Sc. in Computer Science (Thesis Based, Project Based & Co-op). Only Thesis Based is funded and other two r self funded course. All those types are not less than 2 years course. so u have to calculate the total cost of 2 years. Then 24,600 * 2 = CAD 49,200 = BDT 39 lac. Beside it will be best idea to show not less than this amount of liquid money during visa to be safe, if u go through as a self funded student.

Take ur time and plan step by step. Its took time... Mine took 9 months to learn and process this whole thing.

Basic difference is... Under project based Mater Degree program you have to complete a project in final semester under a supervisor (typically) where as under co-op you'll have an option for industry internship where you'll work for a company and report to your faculty time to time (or may be a supervisor).

Some common types of masters program you'll find in Canada are as follows:



Master of Applied Science (thesis-based) - MASc

Master of Engineering (project-based) - MEng

Master of Engineering Co-op (internship-based) - MEng (coop)

co-op will vastly help u in ur career as it will add a lot of experience
it will also help u to get a job in canada after graduating....it will be easier than others without co-op
employers in canada look more for experience than academics...
with some work experience u can also take the canadian experience class which will lead u directly to permanent residency
