royalbd,

If you are paying in Canadian dollars, the bank draft should be addressed to the: Receiver General for Canada.
If you are paying in Singapore dollars, the bank draft should be made payable to the: Consulate General, High Commission of Canada in Singapore.

If you go to Standard Chartered Bank, they'd also let you know the beneficiary's name and address coz they prepare these types of drafts every week for PR applicants.

Hi Jnathan,
I sent my PR fee while sending my documents in Aug 2010. They sent me the receipt. Shall I face any problem? My category is 1111. Applied to CIC in Feb 2010 and sent documents in Aug 2010. Waiting for 2nd AOR. Is there any update? I am very worried about whole things. Would be happy to hear from you.

nargis,

could be a new BF'd date/MR/changed to GCMS/IN PROCESS.

deba_avik,

you washed yourself before you p**ped.
if you had not sent the RPRF, you could have its profit in your bank, which is now going to CIC's fund.
Why worrying about the whole thing? make sure your postman delivers any letter to you from Singapore.
keep checking Ecas every week.

ALL CANADA BOUND BANGLADESHIS "Be Aware OF ETIHAD AIRWAYS": http://www.priyo.com/education/2011/07/02/passengers-made-victim-airline-30453.html

Thanks a lot!

The news is also in The Daily Star.....

They better had used Biman from DAC to LHR and then Air Canada from LHR-YYZ.
Biman would never done this to their passengers.
They deserved this, They did not see Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Turkish Airlines. They chose the cheapest one and fall prey on them.
Qatar Airways has recently introduced its flights in Montreal. so its a good choice as well.

Thanks a lot Munnabd for your quick reply.
Yes, they sent me some forms.
And I did not send any non-cash items.
What should I do then? And how long should it take to finish all this procedure?

Hi In_Dhaka, as far as I know you can use assessors/appraisers for finding out current value of your property like apartments, land etc. You could also try getting in touch with your insurance agent who can help you out with finding the current value. For stocks and others you could take help from your broker or the bank through which you are dealing. I believe when you fill out the net worth form you should have some evidence along with it to justify your claims of own net worth. Bank statement is for 12 months, you just have to get it through customer service of bank and Medical examination is also needed. If you are worried about your health, you might want to consider a check up first without involving a DMP. You also need to get bank draft of $490 CAD(if you're single applicant)(standard chartered bank) and address it to Receiver General of Canada. I don't know much else, unfortunately. So sorry. I myself am a new applicant and still waiting in RBVO stage :( So if you need more info, maybe you should PM SamDhaka as he is having exactly the same problems as you. By the way don't forget you have to prepare all papers in approximately 50 days to be safe and then have to mail. Sometimes even courier takes time! (from my sad DHL experience)

SGVO's current strategy: Who are next in line to get their MR??

Dear Post june applicants,

NOC: total number Applicants who got MR

1122: 5 Tamasek, Fighter, Victory,Kokopeace,manji
3131: 2 2010can, Kevinca
3112: 1 Dr.Ray
4152: 1 Ekram
2121: 1 Kathe
2151: 1 In_dhaka
8222: 1 Samdhaka
3113: 0 .......
0631: 0 .........

If we consider the quota for each occupation, applicants of NOC: 3113 and NOC 0631 should be next in line to get their MR.
So it's time for me (Dr.Hasib, NOC:3113) & Arasah bhai(NOC:0631) to receive our MR next week (inshallah), most probably within 20th July 2011.
In addition, pulok bhai (NOC 3112) can also expect to get his MR as only 1 physician got MR so far..

May Allah fulfill our dreams... Amen
