A simple observation:

Many of us have applied solely by ourselves. Many have applied through several agents. Those who applied by themselves are getting their updates very fast. But those who applied through agents are falling back. Even when they are contacting their agents, they are finding slow processing of most of the files applied by the particular agent.

Is this observation right? If so, there must be some kind of problem between agencies and CIC/SGVO.

P.S. I did all my works, i myself filled up all the forms, but i sent my application through an agent as i thought they were experienced and would by pass me if any uncertain situation arises :(

Dear bhi,
It may be partially true, cause I myself know couple of people (including myself) applied through agent and didn’t receive MR till today.

Wish to receive more response regarding this issue from our brothers/sisters to understand the situation.

I did all by myself and you see I didn't receive MR or update after 139 days from AOR. So it may not be correct. Actually we don't know how VO works although many of us could only assume little bit of this and little bit of that!!

Relax, there won't be any situation like 2008. SGVO normally process application on batch mode as seen from latest experience. So your file isn't in
the batch that got into processing. Hopefully they will pick up speed and touch you file soon.
You can easily say that! But it's not all the same here. Anyway thanks for giving us courage n vibe!

Dear RKSaha bhai... Thank you so much for your information...
It is helping me to hold the nerve for sure...

According to my situation, today i'm on 146 days from PER and 110 days from AOR

If i calculate the maximum time from Global SS data, i got to wait from now on
PER 224-146=78days
AOR 177-110=67days

According to SGvo ss
PER 224-146=78days
AOR 196-110=86days

So I am picking 86 days as the highest available number which will take me to August 12, 2015

I hope this calculation will help me to wait till August 12

Surprisingly, for NOC 2281 last MR was issued to Susan apu back in March 13 which was 66days ago... I cant not understand why they need so many days just issue the next MR request for an another applicant!!!! I'm nowhere talking for my MR but any MR from my NOC... this is a holy crap!!!

i am seriously worrying... as i have applied once back in 2007 from UK then after my graduation I back in BD in 2009. However, they asked me to submit all my documents and I sent all those to LVO in 2010. After some days they replied that they are forwarding my file to SGVO as I moved in BD permanently.. After that I received AOR from SGVO and then there was no update for 3 yrs from SGVO... and on a sudden, one day I came to know that whoever applied before 28Feb 2008 will not be considered to be processed for their application but they will refund their application fee. I received my application fees after 6.5 years of my application... now i again feel that there is no guarantee that they will not do the same again... They are keeping our files in ques and on gray morning I will get a news that they will not process the application who applied before 1st January 2015. (I am really really frustrated dear bro and sis)

Anyway, Thank you so much SKSaha bhai...

+1 for you

Dear Bro, don't be frustrated. If your application is not processed this year, then we will have the same situation. You are 5 th Sep applicant and mine is 19 Sep. I don't expect that our application will not be processed because our already October applicants has got PPR.

Beside this, it is confirm that we will not receive MR this month. This month they are clearing PPR in a batch who had their medical FEB, MAR & APRIL. Already 15 applicants got their PPR this month.

I hope that good number of applicants will receive MR in June.

As per SGVO SS MR Issued & DM/Visa Issued/PPR to Applicants by month as follows-

Month No. Applicants Got MR No. of Applicants DM/Visa Issued/PPR
May 2015 - 15
April 2015 9 7
March 2015 31 6
February 2015 7 9
January 2015 6 10
December 2014 6 19
November 2014 28 4
October 2014 15 -

So March 2015 MR Receiver is going to complete their DM/Visa Issued/PPR within this month of May 2015.

Also less chance of MR Rain in this month as there is a chance of Rain of DM/Visa Issued/PPR in this month.

From the statistics it is evident that when there is MR Rain, there is less of DM/Visa Issued/PPR Rain and when there is DM/Visa Issued/PPR Rain, there will is less chance of MR.

SO BROTHER DON'T LOOSE HOPE. WE ARE WITH YOU.

Wonderful observation..may it comes true! BTW my observation is...if you could apply under NOC 2172 Database analysts and data administrators you may have received it way earlier! LOL!

AS PER GLOBAL SS

AVERAGE PER - MR = 98 DAYS
AVERAGE AOR - MR = 62 DAYS

MAXIMUM PER - MR = 224 DAYS
MINIMUM PER - MR = 37 DAYS

MAXIMUM AOR - MR = 177 DAYS
MINIMUM AOR - MR = 35 DAYS
(SOME EXCEPTIONAL VALUES BETWEEN 5-28 DAYS HAS BEEN OMITTED)

AS PER SGVO SS

AVERAGE PER - MR = 99 DAYS
AVERAGE AOR - MR = 60 DAYS

MAXIMUM PER - MR = 224 DAYS
MINIMUM PER - MR = 37 DAYS

MAXIMUM AOR - MR = 196 DAYS
MINIMUM AOR - MR = 35 DAYS
(SOME EXCEPTIONAL VALUES BETWEEN 5-28 DAYS HAS BEEN OMITTED)

ALL THE PEOPLE WHO GOT VISA, RPRF, MR COULD NOT BE INCLUDED AS ALL THE FORUM MEMBERS DID NOT FILLED UP THE SPREAD SHHET PROPER WAY. SO THE ABOVE INFORMATION IS BASED ON THE AVAILABLE DATA.

IN BOTH CASE ONLY THE SGVO APPLICANT HAS BEEN CONSIDERED.

thnx for ur wonderful stat. it will surely help us to hold our patience... +1 for u

According to CIC they returned my application package on February 24, 2015 but I didn't get my package back in my hand.. Now I opened my DD at SCB on November 17, 2014 and 6 months validation period was over yesterday.. As a result I have visited SCB today to cancel my DD.. But they refused to cancel it as.I don't have the check which was supposed to be return by CIC.. What should i do now? It's almost 3 months and still i didn't receive my package.. what happen if i never get them back?

I think they are working on NOC basis. Some NOCs are moving very fast and some NOCs are falling behind. I dont think that applications made through agencies are being delayed only. VOs are emphasizing on some specific NOCs and thats why other NOCs are lagging behind. Look at my NOC (0111), Many June, July, Aug and so on applicants are stuck at AOR stage. All those had not certainly applied through agents. This is my observation and just sharing with you.

Same here. 7 weeks since I send my spouse addition docs. No update.

Dear mates
Yesterday I submitted the passport through VFS. During passport submission, I asked the counter women about my old passport to submit or not. She said that i can submit both passport and many people submit their old passport. Somehow i convinced and submit both passport. However, there was no request for expired passport in my ppr mail and asked to submit expired passport only if it contain any valid Canadian study visa. So it was worthless to submit expired passport for me, my spouse and dependent child.
Is there any reason to be worried about this matter?
