I sent my passport by VFS to Singapore VO on 17 May. On the other hand, I received Australia Permanent Residence visa on 18 May. Can you have any idea, is it possible to get citizenship of both country. If possible, how can I achieved. Have any seniors experience to stay in both countries. I have 2 kids below 3 years. Have you any experience which country is better for them.

WOW... you are lucky than anyone here.
If you consider of weather then Canada will be more mark from AUS.
Also you are from Engineer background and Canada will be more options than AUS.

However it depends on your situation that how your other source to find job in AUS like if you have close relative at AUS who can help you directly once you will start to stay at AUS.

Canada has wider choice because of USA...

Best of luck.

Dear mates
Yesterday I submitted the passport through VFS. During passport submission, I asked the counter women about my old passport to submit or not. She said that i can submit both passport and many people submit their old passport. Somehow i convinced and submit both passport. However, there was no request for expired passport in my ppr mail and asked to submit expired passport only if it contain any valid Canadian study visa. So it was worthless to submit expired passport for me, my spouse and dependent child.
Is there any reason to be worried about this matter?

NO worry at all..

A simple observation:

Many of us have applied solely by ourselves. Many have applied through several agents. Those who applied by themselves are getting their updates very fast. But those who applied through agents are falling back. Even when they are contacting their agents, they are finding slow processing of most of the files applied by the particular agent.

Is this observation right? If so, there must be some kind of problem between agencies and CIC/SGVO.

P.S. I did all my works, i myself filled up all the forms, but i sent my application through an agent as i thought they were experienced and would by pass me if any uncertain situation arises :(

Apu, I can understand your frustration.
As we all know that from frustration there are many logic come into the front of you to make you confuse.

I am not going to defeat your logic however my observation on PR visa process from CIC is same for all. There is no any discrimination from self or agent applied.

So at this stage there is no choice other than we need to wait patiently until their last response.

Wish you all the best..

From where GCMS report is delivered.? Nova Scotia or Ottowa?

I was suppose to receive GCMS yesterday but they had Holiday (Victory Day) except at NB, NS, NL

Hi everyone ;D....One of my colleague was asked to forwd addl docu in March. He had 2nd line updt We started processing.... Now after sending the addl documents in April , now the 2nd line gone :o. It it normal? Are not they satisfied?

This is not usual.
There may be system problem.
The 2nd line means VO has started work for that application.
Sometimes it may appear in ecas for some applicants but behind it VO has to start their file processing in timely manner either it is in ecas or not.

Otherwise your colleague didn't receive for additional docs request from VO.

Your colleagues shouldn't be worry for that..

Not really,
Tension never fades out from life. it just moves from one issue to another.
Like, when you will arrive at Canada then your tension will be arise that how you will get good job there.... etc.

Best of luck.

Today I received reply of my CSE that I raised yesterday morning. My application is in queue for review. The key points to share with you are:
1. Files in the Federal Skilled Worker are processed in order of receipt, based on the date on which the complete application and fee payment were received in our office.
2. Processing times to finalization may vary depending on the number of new applications received, annual quota and the individual complexity of each application.

Hope this will help you to understand the situation.

Regards,
Abu

There are many applicants even from May are still pending to get feedback from VO.
From those who are long waiting, some were applied for GCMS, some were raised CSE many times to know their application status.

So you are not alone here. If you keep posting and watching in this forum you can see many of them sharing their information and from those you will get some guideline for yourself as well.

Best of luck.

This happened before. Do you live in Dhaka? Do you have the receipt at hand or got this info from CSE?
