Brother and sister, those who are from Stamford university dhaka Bangladesh, WES dont qualify this as institution and reject the assessment out right.
so sad, my sister did her MBA and got rejected by WES, and when i have spoken to the registrar of the uni, he said if "WES dont recognize our university, then we dont recognize WES" and " our student should go to Canada, cause it a corrupt country. so instead of help, this is what i hear.
please raise awareness on this issue and spread in all the blog, so that our friend from that uni can know and get this solved, so that this opportunity for immigration stay open for them.

I think this is a news that should be reported to media. If newspapers like Prothom Alo can publish this news - lots of new HSC and their guardian will be aware of this.

Who knows - may be some day foreign universities also want WES/ICAS cerficicate for student visa as well.

This issue should not take lightly or just as personal incident.

I don't have any fdr. I will show my savings account's balance. In that case does the Bank will provide me any bank cert.?

After getting the POF from bank, how much time I will get to submit my Application to CIC? For example, after getting my Bank Cert., if I submit my FSW Application 10 days later, would it be a problem?

10 days will not be a problem. Just collect last 6 months bank statement from the bank. no need to get any certificate. 6 month bank statement will be more than enough.

I have completed B.Sc in electrical & electronics eng..from IUBAT but WES evaluated my credential as a Three years Diploma. I was intending to apply in NOC - 2133, Electrical & Electronics Engineer but can i apply now in this category with this ECA... pls give some suggestion..

As per my best knowledge it will not be a problem any more. The bachelor from AIUB is also evaluated as the same. This is because of the total credit hours completed in BSC.

My HSC transcript is a mixture of Bengali & English as I am a batch of 1996. Due to this, I get a notarized Translated True Copy by an authorized translator. Is this ok to CIC?

Should I also need an affidavit from the person who completed the translation?

Should I also need to send the copy of original transcript?

You must send the original Bengali mark sheet copy with the translated copy. And no need any affidavit but no harm including. The translated copy must have necessary seal and sign.
If you have enough time than it's always better to take out the original translated copy from board itself.

its not necessary to have FDRs to obtain Bank certificate. Bank will issue you certificate based on your account status.
and also will show the amount in CAD.

6 months statement is ok. but if you show all your money just come in a single day then CIC may ask you for the source of money.

WES sent my documents for verification to institution (DU). I contacted with my university and they told me they just got my degree certificate not transcript. DU advised to write WES to send the transcript. Anyone faced this kind of situation before? Please advise what to do. I'm so very irritated on WES. ???

I faced a similar issue. WES didn't attach anything with the mail they forwarded to my University. When I asked them to resend it with proper attachment, they replied with a confirmation mail that the papers has been now sent as attachment with the email. But unfortunately again the attachments were not there. After the second incident I mailed WES again but they didn't reply.

My university registrar helped me a lot regarding this.

My registrar sir, told me to bring the original documents along with the photocopy on which they certified earlier. Based on that he replied to WEs's mail. And wallah.. my application status was changed on the next day!! And my eca was successful.

So, try to convince the person who is responsible for the reply, its totally upon him! WES just re-sends the same mail over and over when requested!

That guy in verification room told me the same thing and was asking for transcript so that he can reply but I preferred asking WES to resend the documents. Let's see what WES do this time. Thanks again.
