Finally I've received my medical request from Singapore Visa Office yesterday. Date printed on the letter is 14th Oct 2010. After exactly 6months from my 2nd lodgement it comes to my hand. I'm really feeling so much happy. Thanks all

You have to carry all the money required by the Immigration Authority (as of POF), there are some electronic typewriter thing in Motijheel....that acan be helpful to fill up the forms..... however you might scan it and make a fillable pdf file and do it by urself. I know nothing about provident fund that whether u can show them as POF....pls ask seniors. Hope this answers your questions.

Agreed with ur comments. As u have said "It depends on how you are established here.Take time and think twice and you may have to make some adjustments depending on your specific situation"...... what kind of adjustment u r talking about? I am working in a well established life science company as an IT Manager and my hubby works for a top class real estate company as an Executive Director. So should I settle in canada or settle here? Need your honest suggestion in this regard.

Look.....the job situation there in Canada is very very tough.People who are established here with all comfort may find them in a very difficult situation as you will have to face a completely different environment.Still it depends person to person.I have seen people sacrificing for their future generation.I only can say the younger,the better.

In the CIC website there are mentioned how much one has to take with him or her to maintain his/her family until he/she gets a job.So accordingly you have to take that much of money because it is really needed as you have to maintain your family how many days you do not know. Because job (even odd job) is completely uncertain.

Not yet friend. But waiting for the moment. From recent updates from different people it seems that January applicants r getting In Process status. I am a February applicant, so I am expecting it within Dec. What do you think?

Every thing was fine before getting phone call from Bank from where I got the Bank Draft. They said that they have done a mistake in Bank draft where they wrote the drawee bank Royal Bank of Canada, Canada but it should be Royal Bank of Canada, Toronto, Canada. For this reason my Bank issue a latter (with my name and file no.) to CHC-Singapore by Fax at the same time by courier that there was a mistake also requested them to attached this latter to Bank draft and submit it to Royal bank of Canada. They also inform this matter to Royal Bank of Canada. All those they have done (3-11-10) before my document reached to CHC- Singapore. CHC got my document today (4-11-10).

My question is
1. what can I do now?
2. Do I mail to CHC inform again or just wait and see.
3. Any possibility of delaying my PPR for this.

Didnt you see the draft that your bank gave you after they had prepared it?
Royal bank has many brances in Toronto, which branch did the draft belong to?
What kind of payement did you make with that draft? Which bank made it?

as you Already got your medical, there is nothing to worry about. everything is reversible now.
