for a long time no comments or words from any MI-2 applicants.....

Received by Visa Office .... still.. >:(

Maybe after SGVO finishes issuing all MI-1 people their MRs, we will start getting In Process status. Still many many more MI-1 applicants are left. MI-1 inventory is huuuuge..

Yes, Munna Bhai 100% correct.

I have a question on spousal application, but this is the only Bangladesh part of the forum that is active. You all can guide me where I should post this question.

I am a Canadian citizen ( Parents live in Bangladesh) and recently married in Dhaka. My new wife currently lives with my parents in Dhaka and I want to bring her to live with me in Canada as soon as possible. Please give me your advice.

Before marriage, my wife was planning to go to UK for a business degree. Because it's difficult to get a professional job in Canada without local experience or degree, now after marriage I think it's better for her to do the degree from Canada. If she manages to come as student, Inland application can take up to 24 months to get PR. All that time for 24 months before PR adjustment she will have to pay international fees, is there a way to adjust her status faster so she can pay local tuiton?

Also, What student visa problems will she face? is it true if the processing officer thinks the applicant has low possibility of returning, they are quick to deny any student visa.

She currently works with a local buying house concern. Instead of facing possible rejection for student visa, should she use try to use her job to get a travel visa? If she does get travel visa through her job, how difficult is it to adjust the travel visa to spousal application?

In short I need my wife to move here asap. Please advise me on the best scenario.

All that time for 24 months before PR adjustment she will have to pay international fees, is there a way to adjust her status faster so she can pay local tuiton?(Not advisable at all to go as a student, also she has to pay full tuition)

Also, What student visa problems will she face? is it true if the processing officer thinks the applicant has low possibility of returning, they are quick to deny any student visa.(first she needs to show good amount to bear all the cost, IELTS or TOFEL score must be good 600+ and still to get refused, if she hides her marriage then that will be also a risk of deportation by both of you.)

She currently works with a local buying house concern. Instead of facing possible rejection for student visa, should she use try to use her job to get a travel visa? If she does get travel visa through her job, how difficult is it to adjust the travel visa to spousal application?(Are you sure that she will get visa? Before it was possible but needed to get married there and then to apply but I do not know the present rule - if some one can advise)

In short I need my wife to move here asap. Please advise me on the best scenario.(The best and you must apply immediately for spousal, it takes maximum 9 months, but remember to give correct phone no. in Canada, a friend of mine was waiting more than 12 months because when they called him from Singapore, he was never available, only one time I was staying at his home and received the call, I well explained about him - after 5 days the visa arrived).

Hope Jonardhon will give his বিশেষজ্ঞ - বিশেষ ভাবে অজ্ঞ, suggestions :)

Hope your wife will be there within 6 months.

i have a small query:

my passport is not MRP (Machine Readable Passport) and i didn't get chance to change it during my whole application period (Feb 2010- June 2012). now i got my MR and people are advising me to change it ASAP as many of airport officials are refusing our old, hand-written passports now a days all around the world. but i am confused, as my passport number has been referenced all through this period in several documents of cic, will it create any anomaly for upcoming formalities/procedures of cic?

anybody has any idea/advice on when or how should i change my passport to MRP or is there any formalities by cic?
