Yes there is some possibility for complication.
1. As Medical is valid for 12 month and we have done it on nov'2014 so i guess CIC will not take 5/6 months to send PPR after medical. I mean it is likely to send PPR within 2/3 months or even earlier. For this we took this little risk. Our baby's delivery date is in first week of May. Thus i am guessing less chance to my baby be born before getting visa.
2. If i see PPR is being late, not within 3/4 months after my Medical and is close to the delivery date(May'2015) in that case i will send a request to my Local VO to consider that i cant fly after February'2015 since my wife is pregnant which i informed them earlier. In this case they will hold my application till the birth of our baby and after the birth the processing should resume.

+1 for you bro. Hope that my process go as smooth as yours have. But what happens if the baby is born after PPR and before getting the visa? wont it complicate the process?

Mate,
I have gone through the same situation like you. We did medical last week at Dr. Wahab's place. My wife was 16 weeks pregnant at that time and we did the x-ray too since we planned the baby to be born in canada. After studying a lot through the web and discussing with other family doctors we came with this decision.
We informed the radiologist regarding this and he assured us that he will use the lowest possible radiation for her x-ray and used a lead shield too. Hope things went good over that.
Now we are waiting for the rest of the processing and expecting it will go smoothly and fast. Hope our taken minimal risk will bring good for our upcoming baby.[/quote]
