DHL fu**ed me up. I've sent my app package on 1st Oct. The documents were not reached by yesterday and I sent a query to their call center about clarification. Few minutes ago I got the following mail:

"Dear Mr. *******:

Good Morning!

This is in reference to the shipment sent under Waybill # ******** to Canada on October 1, 2014. Please note that as per our Global Tracking System, the consignee address is in an on-forwarding area and the shipment was handed over to a Third Party Delivery Agent on October 5, 2014. Regrettably, the shipment was forwarded to an incorrect service station and it was on hold until sent to the destination service centre. However, our Global Tracking System indicates the shipment is expected to be physically recovered at the correct service centre by today. We have requested DHL Canada to arrange urgent delivery on October 8, 2014.

We will keep you notified on the progress of the shipment within 6:00 PM on October 9, 2014. Meanwhile, we would appreciate your kind patience and understanding until the resolution of the matter.

Thanks a lot for your response. I have already sent my application with NOC Category: 2171 on 2-Oct-2014. As per DHL process, application will be delivered by 7th/8th Oct-2014. As you mentioned may be I have wait to see my luck. But by when and how I will be able to know a concrete feedback?

What will be the worst case scenario if the specified CAP is already filled?, will my application be returned or will it be on queue for next year?

Apart from those how to find the total count for the above mentioned NOC those will accepted at max.

Thats why - I alws suggest to all to avoid DHL.....FedEx is much better than DHL......

So sorry to hear this, I have also sent my package via DHL but it was on time. After that I heard FeDex & UPS has their offices near CIC office. So they can ensure fast & secure delivery of your package to CIC, next I will surely avoid DHL. At least for Canada!

**When a package is sent to a destination which is outside of a Courier's delivery radius, it's considered as a "Remote Destination", every company then uses "3rd party" for help. Unfortunately it been the case for DHL in that area (Novascotia). One of the DHL guys told me this.

As CIC want me to update information such as (i) New Passport Number, (ii) New Education Certificate, etc...

We need to submit photocopy of UPDATE DOCUMENTS ONLY to High Commission of Canada or do we still need to submit for all old (existing) information because initially we already submitted to CIC? If no need to submit existing documents, I will only submit all new additional update documents to High Commission of Canada ONLY, when I submit Documents (RPRF fees+PCC+MR+IMM0008E+IMM5669E+IMM5406E+4 recent Passport photos). Thanks in advanced. Please share your idea.

I'm new to this site and I don't know how to operate this site. However, I know this is an excellent site to get some excellent advice. Please help me if anyone has the answer to my query.
I am working as an assistant professor in a dental college. When FSWP re-opened this year in May, one of my friend advised me to apply under 4011 (University professors and lecturers) as he also applied under the same NOC. I've completed all my ground works (e.g. IELTS, ECA repot by WES, police certificate, Bank solvency) for my application and at present I'm colleting my experience certificates from all the dental colleges I have worked with. Few hours ago I've come to know that I'll not be eligible to apply under 4011. Please, advice me what should I do?

I have heard even worst stories about DHL in CANADA. I have found UPS very efficient in canada in my last 2/3 time use. Everyone should be extremely careful now for choosing courier as time is getting really crucial for some NOC
