Sent it as it is. I did so - by now CIO knew Bangladeshi got NID.

No translation required.

For BD do you need to submit national Id photocopy with the docs? Ans fill the national ID number in the form?

I am asking because national id is not in English, that might confuse them.

Old dated notarization will not invalidate documents - so you can sent those.

For NID, I sent as it is without translation.

Dear Seniors Please advice...... I have my pp, national id and other documents notarized for travel purpose and its been more than a year now..... Can I use them for my application? I already spoke a lawyer he said it is fine as there is no expiry date of notarization... just want to double check.....

Do I need to translate my NID as it is Bangla and English mixed?

Thank you......

Guys need help again!

There is a additional family information form (IMM5406). My wife and I both need to complete it. For me: Applicatnt - My name, Spouse - My wife's name, Mother - My mothers name, Father - My fathers name. But when my wife need to complete the same form again who is the Applicant and who is the Spouse? i know Father = her father, Mother = her mother. But Applicant is me so if she writes my name how would the CIC know which form is mine and which is hers?? and if she writes her name in the applicant it will be false as she is not the applicant!!

another question is do I need to notarize every document which is not original? while notarizing what to write?

“I certify that this is a true copy of the original document”,

or

“I certify that this is a true copy of the Birth Certificate”,

Brother,

For the first ques:- This is the way to fill the additional family info form...So dont worry they will figure it out comparing the generic app form ...

And for the second query, notarization is optional ....

And it will be :

“I certify that this is a true copy of the original document”,

Good luck...:)

Thank you very much. can you tell me who will fill up the Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union (IMM 5409)?? in the guide it is written 'This form must be completed and signed by the sponsor and common-law partner, only if the latter is a co-signer on the application.' - but I am unable to understand the meaning. can u help me? common-law partner means spouse right?

For couple unmarried but living together under the same roof need to fill up the Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union (IMM 5409). If it is not applicable to you, you don't need to fill it up and don't need to include it in the application.

Hello Seniors,
Can anyone tell me how to get the information that DD has been encashed from Standard Chartered Bank. I tried to get the information but every-time they are saying its not possible to get the DD encashment information.

My application reached in CIO on 19th June, any approximate date that the DD will get encashed?

BR,
Soumen

SCB certainly can say whether DD has been encashed or not - but they don't cooperate. So, you have to wait for PER mail.

Currently, for applicants of 12th May is being encashed - so you have to wait for long long time to know it. Wait till November to know your status.

BTW, follow the thread http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/fsw-2014-applicants-timeline-lets-network-here-t199004.51870.html which is for FSW2014 applicants.

Also enlisted into the spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11gAbKSoDoOr1s8_raB1qwz0i-ZH0NyNWhhn18O6kHwQ/edit?pli=1#gid=1627896255

Spreadsheet update/entry process

1. please give your input through http://tinyurl.com/FSW14-Entry

3. Now you will redirected to another page, where you will find all your current entry in a from. For change or add entry in future either bookmark the page or copy and save the address from the address bar.

4. If you have your edit link, just open it and update your information. If you forgot to save "Edit your response" link, please resubmit and save it for future update. You old duplicate entry will be removed.

Thanks and regards

Hi, I am from Bangladesh. I am glad that I came to know about this forum as the members have done a wonderful work by helping each other.

I am interested in FSWP 2014. Is it worth it if I start the process this late? I hope to be able to complete WES, IELTS and make other documents ready by mid October 2014. My profile is below -

NOC - 1111
Age - 32
Education - ACCA member + BSc Degree (Oxford Brookes University, UK)
Experience - 5 years
IELTS - 7.5 (in each module but academic. Will take General training again)

Thanks.
