Greetings my people 8), pls I would like to know if it will be out of place to petition AVO. I saw a petition sent to the Canadian immigration minister from Indian applicants. Even though CIC's response defended the slowness of NDVO, I believe it still brought some attention to their applications. Here's the link to the petition letter:
https://www.change.org/p/citizenship-and-immigration-canada-minister-of-minister-of-immigration-canada-order-an-inquiry-to-new-delhi-visa-office-s-slow-processing-for-spousal-sponsorship

This is CIC's response:

Hmm... May God help us o! I am guessing if the minister replies the petition sent against AVO it will be similar to the one sent to NDVO. Let us continue to pray and be optimistic that we will get our PR this year.

Good Morning all and happy Valentines day :-* ;D :-*. Please, can someone help with the link to the petition letter sent to AVO? Thanks and have a beautiful day.

My people I am so happy to see this petition...I pray it at least calls attention to AVO...sis Teju and everyone let's hang in there we will definitely rejoice soon as the glory of the latter shall be greater than the former in Jesus name.

Hmmm. Let me cheer you up a bit. Because of the backlog in Accra, what we hear is that most (if not all) applicats who got AOR in January and beyond are (will be) sent to London Visa Office. So, your file will most likely be sent to LVO like other recent applicants instead of AVO. LVO work with lightning speed. You will get your VISA before June.

To Teju and other elders
Does anyone have an idea of what is going on at AVO? is there anyone you know that got an update recently. I cant just imagine how they came to have such huge backlog that takes over a year to complete.

Huhhhhhh

Even if there are backlogs. Does backlog of job means abandonment.
Does it matter what applications volume make up the backlog, if there are processing in place, we will know, at least, there will be movement. Oyibo say A journey of a thousand miles begins with a step" we are not seeing any step at all. May God help us.

The resolve of sending 2017 applications to LVO is good but not impressive and encouraging to old applicants.

All the same, God is working it out for everyone's good. The great God is in full control.

Amen???? Amen!!!!!

Hello my person. Kingskid has said it all. May God help us, we keep on hoping and praying everyday.I've not heard of any update for PNP applicants recently except for the spillover of people that were given Medical request last December; someone told me somebody got his PPR on Monday.
Let's hope for the best soon.
Cheers.

Hi Teju,

Your application is over 16 months, any response to your inquiry?

It is well!
