By antecedents raising alarm does nothing more than remind them you're still there! If they had wanted to answer people who have raised alarm they would have done that cos a lot of people have sent mails to them. What I've noticed is until they are ready to give updates no one can force them to do that. I believe updates will come soon.

I mailed AVO today about a plea for medical request that my application has been received since Feb 2016 and no update yet. Also in the mail I requested for my spouse's UCI number. They sent the UCI number but never said anything about the medicals. Does it mean their response shows they are Atleast working or something?

Hi Rogba. Is your husband the main applicant? I know you people couldn't have got different UCI when your applications aren't different. If it's the same one and just got UCI after sending mail that was a good move!
With all that is going on I don't think AVO releases update when they are not ready. As you have mailed them, it would be a good reminder for them. I find it very funny that so if you haven't sent a mail you wouldn't have gotten your UCI after a year of submission!!! It is well o :-[

I am the principal applicant. Cic received my application Feb 26 2016 . I got my AOR 26th April and nothing since then. So a friend who is landing next month advised I mail them and to my amazement they replied. However I am skeptical about the authenticity of the reply because of how it was addressed. The content below
