That happens every time immigration officer opens your application. It means they are working on your file even though you can't see any progress.

So, i get another email within an hour of previous update email and this time i saw they have requested the passport and biodata.

Congratulations!!! Sounds like a PPR! Please confirm if it is...

Hi - I got my PNP in Mar 2015 and I applied in EE in Apr and I got my AOR in Apr 7 2015..
When I applied for my PNP and when I submitted my EE Application I was not married and I got married on Apr 22. My Application was locked after I submitted my application..

I could not find a way to communicate my marital status change back to CIC, On May 14th, I got a email from CIC to submit Schedule 4 & 4a forms and upload to my profile..Schedule 4 is applicable for Nominee programs and schedule 4a is for nomination acquired through Business programs..

Instead of uploading schedule 4a form, I wrote a explanation letter that it is not applicable for me and also mentioned a IMPORTANT Note that my Marital status has been changed to Married from Apr 22..I believe my additional docs were accepted...

Will there be any issue now that my application is in progress but my marital status has changed..Even though i already I notified CIC about my status change, I am not sure if that is the right way to provide update..

Can anyone advice, how to communicate my marital status change to CIC, if my mode of communication was wrong...

Below is my current status.

Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents Provided
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed In Progress
A final decision has been reached Not Started

This is what the email says, So seems like a PPR.

office.

It sure is! Congratulations once again!

Can you share your MyCIC and ECAS timeline in detail...

Congratulations Gary!! ;D

Hey Guys, thanks.. !!

They have asked me to submit photos, but the ones i have are stamped with Nov 2014 Date. The link provided in the email doesn't say anything about the date that if it has to be 6 month old or completely new. What do you think.

As for my timelines, I had applied for my EE on 22st April and got the AOR same day. My medical was attached along with the AOR (upfront done couple of days before 22nd as far as i remember). It was updated almost in a week and the same day my background check was turned to in progress. I did not hear anything from CIC until today and ironically my ECAS and myCIC still havent changed at all. Everything is in progress and even ECAS says Application received.

Good for you Gary. I would get updated photos, it may not be specified in the letter but I think it is a requirement on the photo specs page of the CIC website. Can you confirm if you applied for PR from inside Canada or outside of Canada?

Yeah, i wouldnt take a risk either... I will mail everything on monday.

There were a lot of speculations about the Education section (selecting 2+ or not). I will create another thread about my experience so far and that might help others.. STay tuned guys, Its our turn now. People who applied in april should hear good news anytime now.

Congrats Gary. I got my AOR almost the same time (April 24). Do you mind if I ask whether you a single applicant or with family members? Did you apply inland? Thanks
