I am single and i applied under FSW from within Canada although i was more suited for CIC. Currently, i am on an implied status and and had also applied for paper work permit extension

I agree with you...i am closely following people inside canada... I believe CIC is dealing with people who got AOR in march..

Wait a minute guys i have BG check more than 1 month ago and still nothing .... after 4 months someone got rejected as well.... nothing sure ...unfortunately

But it was after 4 months of no news. It's worrying but it doesn't make sense to worry. All we can do is wait patiently and try not to tear our hair out.

People outside Canada have completely different pattern. Several people here and also one of my friend got ppr one or two days later right after their background check started. No need for that pessimism.

Ok guys, so after about two months of checking both Mycic and Ecas about 4 times daily, I woke up this morning to find that my ECAS has changed from 'Application Received' to 'In Process' . What does this usually mean?

Congratulations! Now just wait for BG Check to change to Started and your PPR is on it's way!
