My PR application status changed to IP2 one week ago. And I've been waiting for 37 days since my AOR.
Do you think it's time to request GCMS notes? Or is it too early?
Also, as I understand IP2 means that R10, medicals and criminality are ok and only security left. Am I right?

At this stage your eligibility should be in progress. You can go ahead and request GCMS notes.

There is nothing known as advanced. GCMS notes are GCMS notes.

Hi, My spouse's sister is going to order gcms notes on my behalf. Can someone guide on how to fill the IMM5744e form. In Representative part should the name of my spouse's sister comes.

Hello. Our spouse sponsorship application was received 12 months ago, the last update was in May. We called CIC and they said it’s still in the security check. Would ordering the GCMS note help at this stage?

I’ve received my GCMS notes from GETGCMS today. Eligibility is recommend passed from the case analyst. At the end of the notes says review required for statutory questions. What should I expect at this stage. Do CIC refuses cases because of that? I have previous visa refusals and stated yes to two questions in the statutory questions. Should I wait for CIC to ask for ADR or I can fill out schedule A and upload it via web form.

I could not upload the images previously. Now you can find my notes below. Please let me know if I have passed eligibility. Moreover, note 3 has review required but note 1 says recommend passed no review. Can u please tell me if everything is fine for now or I should be concerned about something.

You can definitely request GCMS notes and see if there has been any updates or a reason why your application is stuck.

For Sch A wait for it to be asked by IRCC. Nothing to be concerned about, this is usual.

Is there any disadvantages of not having any travel history, i.e.NO VISA stamps on passport...??

Does it play any role in security checks..??

I had submitted my PR application (AOR May 9, 2018) and I will be completing 6 months on November 9, 2018

@legalfalcon Dear legalfalcon, since in my GCMS notes it was mentioned by case officer "Review Required" for "Insufficient evidence of job duties as per NOC" following that I have submitted revised proof of work exp. which has clear details of job duties matching with the NOC. On Oct 25 I have got their acknowledgment email as well stating they have received the doc.

Please advise what should be my next step from here since online application status has not changed and not sure how much time it takes.

After ordering GCMS on Oct 2nd, my status was updated to: “we are processing your Background check” on Oct 15th and received another ghost update on October 18th. Is it possible to assume at which stage my file is stuck now?

Also based on the above extracts, can you please tell that what are the chances of rejection? If everything goes smooth then how long it might gonna take to get the PPR mail based on current trend?

Mr Legalfalcon,

emails are not secure communication channel. Does your website service offer any secure methods of delivering the consent form? For instance, my online bank requested the latest copy of my driver license a few days ago. They emailed me a link to their upload page, where documents can be attached and sent using end-to-end encryption. Email do not provide this level of security by default, a special trusted channel would have to be established first, but this cannot be easily automated with hundreds of customers. Therefore, emails should never be used to ask for any sensitive/private information.
