Everything seems to be going well in your application so far. The program assistant has has started reviewing the eligibility. As regards the the UCI fro the spouse, it showed as failed, but was promoted. This happens when on the first review when documents are checked, your spouse could have an existing UCI which showed up.

After the review, another review will take place by a program analyst and then your status will go to 'recommended passed' after which an agent will review it and make it to PASS.

Hi Legalfalcon,
I have received my GCMS notes today. Iam FSWO AOR March 30. My GCMS notes says criminality and Medicals passed. Eligibility-> Review required and Security->Not started.
Apparently, analyst has recommended pass on my file on 8th June itself. Since then, my file was just in the queue and was not picked up till they received my GCMS request. On 6th August, last update happened and even my additional docs status changed to "we do not need additional docs".So the case officer assigned the case to himself with a due date of 6th September.
Please throw a light on the above information. When the analyst has recommended pass long time back, what took the assigned officer so much time to check on my file again? And if the due date is 6th September, will there be no update till then? Should I relax and expect PPR soon if the analyst has recommended pass? How safe is my file? Please answer @legalfalcon.

Hello Legalfalcon,

Would you please share your insight on my GCMS notes, it’s really confusing! The notes were generated on July 31.

Here is my profile:

AOR:21, March ,2017

Med passed: 19, May,2017

BG1: 20, May

Na2: 19/June, and I am still in NA2

Criminality passed

Eligibility not started

The point is that my filed was moved to the LVO on July 12, and before this transfer the agent review on A 11.2 was: “Decision met”. And overall he gave me a positive feedback on eligibility. So how is it that my eligibility is not started even when there is a review on that from an agent and also my file was transferred to the LVO.

There was a due date for Aug 12 on the notes, and nothing happened, at least this is what I know. Also, there is a date for recalculation in the eligibility section for September 1.

Please share your opinion on this with me.

thanks a lot

As of now the CEC application processing is the slowest. Even after 6 moths the eligibility is not started. Eligibility is a quick process and should not take more than 1-2 months at the most. You will have to wait it out.
Try getting another set of GCMS and see if there is some progress.

Why does your eligibility say "review required"? Does the note specify. It is this that is taking time. As regards the due date, that has no relevance, as many applications are processed way before that and some are not even toughed after the due date.

To say more, I need the note form the analyst.

The eligibility takes place in 2-3 steps. First, the application is reviewed by a program analyst, who will review the documents and make a recommendation. This will result in changing your status to "recommended passed" or "review required." After this the IRCC officer reviews it and makes a final determination and this is when the eligibility is actually "passed" and you will see this status on the second page of the GCMS notes.
If your eligibility is passed, and then reviewed by the IRCC officer then it is passed. Applications which are transferred to the LVO see the final stage of eligibility after they reach LVO.

As regards the due date, that has no relevance, as many applications are processed way before that and some are not even toughed after the due date.

Hi legalfalcon,
In my GCMS notes it says, review type: support service agent application: is this for R10 review? Also at the last it also says eligibility showed as Failed prior to application promotion... what does that mean?
Can you please tell me what does that mean.... in agent review 11.2: decision met 75(2) FSW minimum requirements: review required 76(1) (a) selection criteria.
Also, in my admissibility section, security 1: assign due date was 31th May.
Now, in background check do they start security plus eligibility and also if need any ADR they request that too... all started at same time?
Thanks in advance
