If your employer was called, it will not be a bad idea to order GCMs notes and be sure that everything went well. Because if they have any concerns, you may be called for an interview, highly unlikely but to be on the safer side, better to see what was the note entered.

Since your employer was called, the program analyst would have recommended a "review required" in your eligibility section.

Yes, I do have that review required. I guess the officers now taking over and conducting verification. I will go order the notes.

I received my GCMS notes this morning.It only shows my medical and criminality passed, Eligibility not started(I sort of knew this as I have been on NA since 27th June). I had a few queries if you could share your thoughts on:

1. It says Primary office CIO Sydney and secondary office Ottawa. Does that mean my application outcome will be decided at Ottawa?. I ask this because when I emailed Ottawa last week they wrote that "Your application is at Sydney and has not been transferred to local visa office". I am from India.

2. Under Eligibility - > Assessment 1 it says " Next recalculation date - 1/8/17". What does this mean?

3.Under Eligibility - > Assessment Attributes, there is a point called "FSW Minimum Duration and FSW points grid Duration".Is this the number of months of employment considered for my NOC till date?

These days the IRCC is moving applications based on work load. After the CIO - Sydney, your application would have gone to CPO-Ottawa and then to LVO. However, some application are now being processed at Ottawa, given that there is no need for local verifications.

2. Under Eligibility - > Assessment 1 it says " Next recalculation date - 1/8/17". What does this mean?
This is the day when your score will be re-calculated for CRS and MEC sue to your birthday or a change in CRS.. However, in most cases this is irrelevant.

3.Under Eligibility - > Assessment Attributes, there is a point called "FSW Minimum Duration and FSW points grid Duration".Is this the number of months of employment considered for my NOC till date?

As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.


Unfortunately at this time we are not able to determine when your application will be finalized, but our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed, or if any additional information or documents are required.



We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum.

Just a quick question regarding the stages: After security has been passed, and your application is assigned to a final visa officer (as told by call centre agent), do the final visa officer do extra verifications and extra security screenings? If yes, how long would this normally take or do they again use third party agencies which result in no specified timeline?

I received mine yesterday but I ordered them from getgcms. Received in 31 days. I have not tried the immitracker though.I will order another set after a week but i will stick to getgcms.

One more thing that I would like to ask you is this a security screening ???? Because some people are saying that I am stucked in security !! The fact is my security is showing still "Not Started" in my GCMS notes.......So is there any relation with security screening ????

After your application has been processed, you are all good. The Final verification is where the officer will review and see if everything is in order and approve the file. Nothing more. Given that your eligibility and BGC are cleared.

You can order GCMS notes anytime. Even after landing. A lot of people order after landing for their records. Some people also order CBSA to get their landing and exit details at the time when they file their citizenship applications.

During the citizenship application, you will be required to furnish the same details once again that you did in PR. If you have lost them, then you can order a copy of the complete application you filed, anytime even after you land.

https://www.getgcms.com is the most reliable, I have ordered 2 sets. They respond within a few minutes if yo have any questions. When I ordered my first set, I made an error in the consent form. GET GCMS team called me to verify if the details were correct. Can't expect anything better.

I have come to know that they also follow a electronic privacy act to protect your personal information for leaking, which no else done. When exchanged messages with @legalfalcon he informed me of this as you notes have personal details and if it gets in wrong hands could lead to identity theft or damage credit lines.
