No, my brother residing in Canada ordered it on my behalf on 6th Jan.. still waiting.. its getting real frustrating..
Got it. Your brother didn't receive any follow up query after the submission? Also, it depends if the submission was made during business hours or not. Give it till Monday.

@legalfalcon I ordered GCMS notes from ircc and got an extension. Is it ok to order new notes from CBSA instead?
And if I order notes from CBSA, would still get notes from IRCC after the extension period?

Also, does the GCMS notes from CBSA shows useful details like officers' notes, status, etc?
Im so confused as I have never ordered from CBSA, Thanks a lot in advance...

The IRCC and CBSA both use the same processing platform, i.e. the Global Case Management System (GCMS). The GCMS notes obtained form IRCC and CBSA look the same and have the same information, except that they are obtained from different agencies and may be subject to different exemptions.

Irrespective of whether you request your information from CBSA or IRCC, they will both have officer's note.

50% of all ATIP requests filed to the federal government are to IRCC which has caused delays and backlogs.

its been a month that I had ordered CBSA and i have not rcvd anything in my inbox. Today is thd 31st day, therefore, @legalfalcon pls advice if there are delays with CBsA as well?

The calculation of time under the Access to Information Act is done in accordance with the Interpretation Act. The rules for calculation of time are specified in section 26 & 27 of the Act, read with the ATIP Manual. The ATIP manual states:

7.1.1 Calculation of statutory deadline
The 30 days allowed by the Act are calendar days, as provided for in subsection 27(5) of the Interpretation Act. They are counted from the first day following receipt of a complete request in the appropriate office(s) named in Info Source. If the deadline falls on a weekend or on a holiday, the deadline for response, extension or other action becomes the next work day. In such cases, the notice of extension must be sent before or on that next work day.
When an extension is taken, the deadline is recalculated from the date of receipt of the request rather than from the original deadline.
Based on the date when you filed your request, calculate the time frame as above. Also, 30-35 days is average time frame within you can hear back. Also, factors as to when you filed your request, was it on a weekend, or if the 30 days time frame expire on a weekend, then the processing days will be calculated from the following business day.

If you do not receive a response, contact CBSA ATIP for a clarification.

Hello. I would like to order GCMS notes. Can anyone recommend a reliable website for this with good privacy policy?
If you request GCMS notes, you can do so from either IRCC or CBSA. IRCC has been experiencing delays. To read on how and when to request GCMS notes from either CBSA or IRCC, see https://bit.ly/3a5UgAc

Hello @legalfalcon @caipsnotes : Need you valuable input as always pls. Please forgive for a long post.

I had orderd my CBSA last month and just received. I dont know if I should be happy for what i see, as I understand that still there are some steps to be taken. Just to remind you, that I had my 1st GCMS rcvd in Sep 2020 and reordred in Nov, which is pending till date. as per last CBSA, i want to highlight the latest updates as following.

Assessment: (28th Jan 2021)
Eligibility
: Passed (this was passed in GCMS as well dated 1st Sep 2020)
Security: Passed (this was not started in GCMS dated 1st Sep 2020)
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed (this was not started in GCMS dated 1st Sep 2020)
Org Crime:
Medical: Not Started (this was passed in GCMS dated 1st Sep 2020)
Misrepresentation:
Info Sharing: Complete
Other Reqs:
Final:

Shall i expect that this is now fully passed and hanging due to the medical extension?

Application Assignment:

Assigned to xxxxxxx
Assigned by: xxxxxxxxxx
Due Date: 2021/02/11 (Meaning something was due few days back).. Please correct and advice.

Under Client Details, below are the changes that are observed. This is same for PA & Spouse:
Security: Blank (this was not started in GCMS dated 1st Sep 2020)
Criminality: Passed (this was not started in GCMS dated 1st Sep 2020)
Medical: Not Started (this was passed in GCMS dated 1st Sep 2020)

Then I moved to the notes section, thinking that there will some concrete info, but I didnt see much difference except the following:

Note 1:
Created and updated on 11th Nov 2020.
Label: General
Text: Request letter sent. 90 days (I am assuming that this is the KSA PCC. The letter of same date is attached with CBSA report). Pls note that KSA PCC is already submitted.

Note 2:
Created and updated: 11th Nov 2020
Label: Adm/Medical
Text: Med expire January 2021. Medical extension to be requested when security & criminality completed.

Now the question is: I didnt receive any extension information, and security and criminality are passed as per the highlighted assessment. How will i know about it, as there is no info.

Note 3:

Created and updated on 11th Nov 2020.
Label: Adm/Security: Background information including subtabs reviewed for all applicants above 18 years of age. Visa refusals acknowledged. (My spouse's UK student visa was refused in 2007, which we have highlighted in our application. Is this refusal pointing to the same)?. Will there be any issue due to this refusal?

Note 5:

Created and updated: 11th Nov 2020
Label: General
Text: Dependents: The applicant has not identified any qualifying dependents for examination, other than those noted on Imm 8/Imm5406. Note: Should additional dependents be sponsored at a later date will be excluded as per 117(9)d.
Can you please clarify what does it mean exactly?

Note 8: This is the same which was in my first GCMS.
Review Type: Program Assistant:
Here everything (language, education, PCC's etc) is highlighted except the work experience, which im not sure why. I know that IRCC had contacted my previous employer, who had given all required details. Why they have not highlighted here? Is it because its a PNP application? All details look fine and in the end, it just says Documents set for review - Client information

Please can you elaborate on each highlighted points.

Thanx aload.

As per the assessments, all stages have been passed, and only the medical are pending, which will be done during final review. Most likely your meds would have been send for reassessment. IRCC is facing a medical backlog.

An application is based in principal when you see approved on the assessments under "final." Once your medicals are approved / extended or your re asked for re-med, then your application will move to the final review, and followed by PPR. Also, if you are outland, IRCC is not issuing PPRs to outland applicants in large numbers as they were before.

Note 1: yes if you receive d a letter asking for KSA PCC

Note 2: Since your security and criminality has passed, the medicals should have been sent for extension or may have already been extended. You can call IRCC or send a webform.

Note 3: A visa refusal per se is not an issue, however, since UK is a part of the FCC (Five Country Conference) your records will be checked for any immigration or criminal violations. IF you have none, no need to be concerned.

Note 5: Under the immigration law, all dependent family members have to be declared and they have to be admissible whether accompanying or not. If you did not declare any family member, they will be barred from being sponsored at a later date under the family class sponsorship.

Thank you very much!!!.so what i understand is the first clearance is given and now officer will review the documents?? How long usually it takes for the next step??

Also, can you pls advice on Note 8? mentioning here again

Note 8: This is the same which was in my first GCMS.

I also found many attachments in the end of CBSA notes which shows our passports, pictures, educational and experience documents, which I am assuming are the basis of our application. But I did not find anything related to the verification which IRCC made with my X employer, that is why im more confused for Note 8, that why is the experience not highlighted, and still everything looks clear.

Also, can you please confirm if the assessment information is reflected on our online portal? As my agent had shared with me the screen shot few days back (before rcvning the CBSA) and eligibility was shown as "under review", where as here it shows as passed.

Please advice @legalfalcon

TIA

Is note 8 the R10 - completeness check note? If it is then it only looks into that all documents are on file and not your work reference. Verification made with employers are redacted and not disclosed. If you have any redactions in your notes for eligibility, that would be the note for the verification and the summary the officer entered in after he spoke to the employer.

Assessment, i.e. what you see on page 2 is not reflected on the MyCIC account. That is only available in your GCMS notes, by calling IRCC over the phone or in a webform response.

For webform responses see https://bit.ly/3pk0Yqs
