Ya, the website is not very helpful. Me and a couple of my friends applied under SRS-Post Grad category with engineering NOCs. Mine is 2132 (mechanical eng). We received nominations in 8 months.Ritwick said:On the website it still says 14 months for engineering
What score did you have to get ITA? Did your AINP count towards your score? Did you have LMIA?cosgrec said:It's a bit off the topic, but I would really like to know.
I applied for EE under FSW yesterday (After receiving an ITA on JAN 31st) and for AINP in October.
Does anyone knows if AINP contact CIC while processing AINP application and if some contradiction between the 2 applications exist can it effect the FSW under EE Application?
I'm considering cancelling the AINP application because of this concern.
AINP is not related to EE - Didn't get nomination yet either. No relevance whatsoever.Ritwick said:What score did you have to get ITA? Did your AINP count towards your score? Did you have LMIA?
I see. I would say stick to EE, as you will get an ITA soon due to your high score. All the bestcosgrec said:AINP is not related to EE - Didn't get nomination yet either. No relevance whatsoever.
I have LMIA - Only this way you can apply to AINP.
I had 1007 on EE and qualified both for CEC and FSW.
I have an ITA and applied for EE already. What do you mean by sticking to EE?Ritwick said:I see. I would say stick to EE, as you will get an ITA soon due to your high score. All the best
I know that. I will ask the question again:Ritwick said:If you have an eta, then you are all set. You don't need your AINP now. Your processing through EE will be way faster
I don't think there will be any contradiction. No entirely sure thoughcosgrec said:I know that. I will ask the question again:

AINP and CIC do not communicate about you. They don't need to.cosgrec said:I know that. I will ask the question again:

Thanks for the suggestion!fistillarte said:Withdraw your AINP application. There's no point anymore on trying to get a nomination because you're already in process for PR.
