Get LMIA and apply for EE.

I have my nomination already, and it will still take me another year and a half to get my PR.

BC seems to be the easiest one right now, as they even have their own PNP for EE category.

On the website it still says 14 months for engineering
Ya, the website is not very helpful. Me and a couple of my friends applied under SRS-Post Grad category with engineering NOCs. Mine is 2132 (mechanical eng). We received nominations in 8 months.

But AINP is not working with CIC. So the nomination won't get you 600 points. Although you can apply the routine PNP way using your nomination (17 months for that).

It's a bit off the topic, but I would really like to know.

I applied for EE under FSW yesterday (After receiving an ITA on JAN 31st) and for AINP in October.
Does anyone knows if AINP contact CIC while processing AINP application and if some contradiction between the 2 applications exist can it effect the FSW under EE Application?
I'm considering cancelling the AINP application because of this concern.

What score did you have to get ITA? Did your AINP count towards your score? Did you have LMIA?

AINP is not related to EE - Didn't get nomination yet either. No relevance whatsoever.
I have LMIA - Only this way you can apply to AINP.
I had 1007 on EE and qualified both for CEC and FSW.

I see. I would say stick to EE, as you will get an ITA soon due to your high score. All the best

I have an ITA and applied for EE already. What do you mean by sticking to EE?

If you have an eta, then you are all set. You don't need your AINP now. Your processing through EE will be way faster

I know that. I will ask the question again:

Does anyone knows if AINP contact CIC while processing AINP application and if some contradiction between the 2 applications exist can it effect the FSW under EE Application?
I'm considering cancelling the AINP application because of this concern.

I don't think there will be any contradiction. No entirely sure though

Withdraw your AINP application. There's no point anymore on trying to get a nomination because you're already in process for PR.

AINP and CIC do not communicate about you. They don't need to.
Two parallel applications is not a problem for you.
Sure, you pay double price and only one of them will be finally processed. But you cannot know which one is faster. Morever, neither of them give you any guarantee. So the best option is to keep both of them in progress to maximize your chances.
