@ Saba NED : Yes I am from Pakistan. NED has already clicked me regarding your country. As a name of Engineering University. Also I suggest you that you have time till end Oct 2012. So write a letter to them that you are re appering in IELTS and then retry. I think it is enough time still now to reappear in IELTS. Best wishes for you.

I have skimmed through the Pnp documents checklist, i think bank statement is not required now? As I am right.

USMA, Congrats on your nomination. This is great news. With regards to the bank statements, I haven't seen any reference in the checklist but I just did a cursory glance. I will set out some time this weekend to review the application guide and the checklist properly.

@Saba NED, write to the Alberta and request to sit the IELTS again.

@All; don't worry if you haven't gotten the nomination yet, it is still a long way till October. I am sure this is being done in batches.

Even I have not gone through checklist thoroughly as my application requires 3 country PCC which is time bound for me... Busy in applying that one. Well, ofonzo let us know whether bank statement require. According to me, it is must as they had asked schedule 0008e form to fill up and amounts to declare... If it is easy to attach than lets attach. Don't want to take chance on this.

As ofonzo said, it will be in batches... Do keep your patience n start applying for PCC so at least it will not eat your time Afterwards

@ ofonzo can you plz giude me how can i write letter to AINP .. i mean can i contact then through email ?? on same address by which i got acknowledge letter ??? or i have to post or fax to AINP....

@Saba NED, Yes I would advise you use the email address that was used to send the acknowledgement. Remember to state your file number and then make your request for extension to provide IELTS results. It is a long shot but it is worth trying.

Usama ... U were right that check list doesn't call for bank statement but u believe that they will be using the same which we had submitted before to ANIP...

All:
The application to CIC doesn't require a bank statement.However like every new PR, we would be asked to declare cash we are carrying during the landing process.
