Dear Members
i got APEGA NOC. i could not understand its benefit? it says that i can not claim to be an Engineer (as i understand) . i am afraid it may have a negative effect on case. secondly i think it is not compulsory for all candidates. if a candidate is in Pakistan, working there, has membership of Pakistan Engineering Council. Would he or she still be required to provide NOC from Apega.

Candidates were shortlisted based on landing destination and profession. Pre 2008, Ontario was the destination for most fsw applicants and that is reflecting in the number of applicants shoftlisted for this pilot. On the issue of apegga, to be designated as a professional engineer, you will need to sit for the professional exams and work as an engineer for 12months under supervision of a professional engineer to qualify. I think there may be exceptions for US trained engineers.

Dear Usma,

This NOC means that they had verified our documents and syllabus which we had gone through and they have no objection if we work as a engineer under P.E. or charter engineer. This NOC just dictate that APEGGA have no objection under your claim of being engineer but you may not entitle to approve any engineering documents.

This is very common in western countries and also in some southeast countries like malaysia.

So dont be worry, AINP knows about APEGGA language. just submit as it is.

Are we required to show the balance in our bank account and retain that money untill nothing comes from their side... i am asked for....

Is there any one who spoke to them on such queries...

I think the letter from your bank is all that is required to show your financial standing. At best, AINP will contact the bank to confirm that they issued the letter. No bank will divulge your bank information to a 3rd party without seeking your approval. Standard banking practice. This is just my thinking though.

Thanks very much for valuable feedback regarding APEGGA.
Secondly my opinion is same as of Ofonzo regarding Bank Statement. This is logical, they only can contact to a banker to cofirm the reference letter issued by them by giving the reference and date. In Pakistan even bank do not confirm that you have a bank account with them to credit card issuing other bankers.

Dear Members
One other thing to note is that when by the grace of Allah we will be sucessful in provincial nomination and we will be asked to submit documents to federal immigration we will again will be required to submit a new bank statemet with transaction history of 3 to 6 months. so it is not necessary to remain fix on same amount as tod to AINP but a healthy account shoyuld be active.

Thanks usma... We all r waiting for that day to get nominee letter but at present there is no such indication whether they will give before time or in October

I just received nomination letter from AINP. It was dated July 13th 2012 and is valid up to January 9th 2013. Thanks be to GOD!

I would advise that you check your email folders. you may have received the nomination already.

Interesting times ahead for us all.
