now it is confirmed that we will renew our csq . this delay was expected since as other table mentioned that the number of files which took final decision was decreased from 55 to 13 (less by 75%) so this will sure increase the time of processing . and if they keep like that the 47 will become 55 soon . I hope a miracle happen soon

kita ,dont worry my dear,when i saw forum lebanais,i saw that almost of them waited for 3 years for medical and at the least they received it ,and they started get their visa 2 weeks ago one by onther one,so if u want my opinion,i am not afraid,coz i know that amman office issued about 300 visas for refugee last year,250 visa for sponsorship,200 visas for grand parents program,and all applicants of these programs r syrians,jordains,and iraqs,so it means that amman office issue the visa and the question is not relation to anything,but as mft25 said ,they have one officer for QSW,believe me ,one guy from syria got his visa last week,he waited for 3 years,so can u imagine that??they called him and told him,we r sorry for a long waiting,they cant return ur file coz u r not federal,u r selected by Quebec and u have passed all steps ,u r in the final step,u just wait medical and security check,nothing else.

I swear you are right . it is a curse I agree with you. especially Amman office it is torturing and killing slowly. tarek you said Lebanese have wait 3 years, for your knowledge these people applied with us we already passed 3 years we applied 2010 so by the end of this year I will complete 4 years while medical not yet done . in the same time they already delivered their passport for visa stamp . so when I land most probably it would be 5 or 6 years so we gonna break all world record of waiting . now we go back to the waiting game of the dead office .2 weeks and no any news . I think this stupid office will back to sleep for more 2 months like before

no my dear mft25,lebanese applicants who got their visa 2 weeks ago have submitted their application to federal part in last q4 of 2010,i am sure about that and i can give u their names on their forum,applicants of 2011,2012,2013 they havent received their visa yet but u r right they received the medical,now lebanese applicants 2011 q2 r waiting their visa,i am there and talking with them every time,but on another hand u r right,at least amman office can send to us medical like them,i dont know what is going,ammn office sent medical to all applicants NOV 2010 and they think if they send medical to DEC 2010 or not ,so can u imagine that???and if u want to calculate the time for get csq ,so i am as u and kita,at the end of this year,i will complete 4 years and 2 months,i applied the first file to Quebec in 1 october 2010.

walla ya jama3a, over the past 4 years, whenever i get closer to the end of the tunnel , they increase processing times them by 2-5 months .... i remember they were 11 months back in 2010 and they kept increasing them, and increasing them until they got to 47 between damascus and amman...

The problem is that they are increasing the processing times and processing very few applications ...

I submitted my application for the CSQ in December 2010. I waited for 3 years to get it. Now according to the new processing times I have to wait until the end of 2017. That makes it in total 7 years if the processing times don't get longer. When I applied in 2010 before the Syrian crisis, the whole process used to take maximum 2 years. If I had known then I swear to God I would not have applied and stopped everything in my life. Now I will really forget about the whole issue. If they call me in 2017 so be it, otherwise I will act as if I have not applied for anything.

tarek do not forget that all of 2011/2012/2013 have received their medical from Bucharest office .so our situation is totally worse. plus all of the people who submitted their passport for visa applied with us q3 2010. forget about the federal date was 2010 because no one touched their files before they were transferred to Bucharest 2013.

Hello guys. I'm actually quite disappointed with this new processing times. I want to ask your opinion about a very serious thing I am considering.

I have got my csq in november 2010. I've been living in dubai since october 2010. I have applied for federal (because of some delays due to marriage) in Jan 2012 for me and my wife. At the time, I selected Damascus as my visa office because I thought Abu Dhabi visa office will take longer to process my application. after 10 days of sending my application, the damascus office was closed as you all know and my waiting journey started.

I now see that Abu Dhabi is processing visas very well and their processing time is down to 27. I didn't transfer my file for all this time because I was afraid that transferring it will take additional 6 months just to be done. But now, I am seeing that I have to transfer. Amman visa office will increase their processing times still more as mft25 said to 55 and maybe even more (there was a visa office in Colombia with a processing time of 90 months at one point of time).

My questions: 1- should I transfer my application to Abu Dhabi? I have been waiting for 27 months now without any news.
2- let's suppose that I transfer my application, will they process it after all the pending applications, or will they process it according to its date (january 2012) and hence before those who applied after january 2012 up until now. If this is true, I think once they receive my application, they will start processing it, as most applications received from January 2010 in Abu Dhabi are already processed. If I applied to Abu Dhabi in the first place, I would have got my visa for sure now.

i advise u to transfer by asking letter to them,do not think a bout time ,will be faster than amman
