Guys,
I am surprised you are that eager to get there ... Do you know how difficult it is for you to find a job in Canada? I mean I am very excited about getting there but the things I have been hearing from people I know that have arrived there recently are scary ... you have to spend a lot of money and look for a real job for a lot of time. You will have to do low level jobs for 1-2 years before you can find a real job and the return is not that high ...

if you have a job in the gulf it might be way better than if you get to Canada. I think you need to think a lot about the move, how you will get there, what you will do a the beginning before you will get there so that the size of the disappointment for the first 3-6 months will not be huge ...

Always better to go and see for yourself than listen to what people say. As for the "low-level" jobs, in the world I live in, there are no levels associated with jobs. Working is something that is to be done for its on sake. No use to look for guarantees in life. Neither here in UAE nor in Canada nor anywhere in the world.

i am agreed with acoustica.for me i am preparing from now to find a job in canada .i am preparing for examen to equalify my diplome of the medecin,i know that it is difficult but i should struggle,and on the other hand i found an institute in which i can do course of my specialisation and they give me a certificate after that ,then i can work there by this certificate,so for me it is not problem inshalah and i think all my friends here have not any problem to find a job there.

it's great to dream of the better life, there are a lot of things in Canada that do not exist in our world (Education, healthcare, organizated life, social security and safety), yet in return if you have an open heart operation sometimes you have to wait for four and five months for your turn, its not easy to find a job at all without Canadian experience, can you imagine a doctor cleaning at a gasoline station for two or three years ? this is way less than what she/he can do ... all I am saying you need to have realistic expectations, continue living your life until your paperwork is here ...

When your paperwork is here you need to plan and not just jump and say "its not going to be easy but I will cope" ... I have a lot of friends that worked so hard on getting to Canada and came back after one year or year and a half because they failed to find a job ! or they found a job that pays less than their current situation !! just P L A N

i know what is happening there,i have also a lot of friends there and they r doctors as me and they did equalification of their diplome and they work there,and on the other hand i have friends there ,they did this course of this institute and got this certificate ,if u want ,i can give u the site of all this ,and my expierence in my specialisation is required there so much ,do u know something about technical in radiology?or sonography?do u know something about institute which can give u a certificate after course( one year or little)?do u know how is radiology is required there?man i know that u have friends there,but maybe their specialisation r not like me,so i know what i do,and i know how to plan and get job there ,and i know very good which the professions r required there,i was abroad and hamdelah i know how people live there.
and at the end i am from syria ,and i dont have any choice to stay in my country,my country is destroyed completly my dear,and regardless by Gulf,hahaha Gulf does'nt give any visa to syrian my dear,and in Gulf i know how the people treat with forgien people,so my dear i advise u ,Do not compare the conditions of your friends and make them the standard for everything and for all people

the time will be shorter because 2010 was peak in number of applications to Quebec after that the number dropped dramatically
For 2010 Q4 there are 38 applicants (73 persons )
For 2010 there are 107 applicants (199 persons)
For 2011 there are 54 applicants (82 persons)
For 2012 there are 39 applicants (88 persons)
So as you can see the number of applicants of last quarter 2010 is equal to whole 2012

can you please tell me if it is possible to sworn translate military service records and certify them from ministry of foreign, coz I know that no translator will do the mili documents. in case we do not manage to get it translated, can we send it as it is with explanation letter

because of changing rules and make it harder they first ask for French certificates to be sent along with application then they put yearly cap if it reached they will not accept more then they make b2 the minimum level of French to calculate points for French

I am waiting that moment when they finished 2010 because I have faith we will get landing papers before the end of 2014
