We started processing your application on March 16, 2015.

but we didn't receive any medical request yet ,

I have valuable info for everyone who have kids. in the passport submission email they asked to submit valid signed passport for everyone including kids . through email no one answered us so my husband went to embassy and asked them directly . the answer was any one below 16 his father should sign the passport. we asked them also regarding CSQ renewal since it will be expired when we land in Canada so the answer was your application was finalized before the expiry of CSQ so no extension is required . I liked to share this info with everyone to save time for everyone .
I will submit passports on 13/4 since I have important trip on 3/4 and I already paid tickets I did not expect fast passport request and i planned for this trip since February .they did not give me promise to send passport back before 3/4 . I asked vac and they said it may take up to 3 weeks to return passports so they said you have 30 days to submit you passport as mentioned in email so submit it when you come back to avoid any surprises and this is what I will do .

Thanks for sharing the info dear mft. We have the problem of the children's signatures on their passports. I asked about this issue and was told that children do not have signatures and no other signature can be used on their behalf. What should we do now? This is really a big problem.

Is there any Syrian who got the visa for their children and who can tell us about their experience?

Dear mft, I think you need to check with the embassy again regarding the children's signature. I checked the website of passport canada and found that in Canada itself parents are not allowed to sign their children's passports and that the signature space should be left blank.

I do not think it is a big problem they told us to sign it and no body is checking the signature at airports also this info for Canadian passports
anyway the email is clear from Bucharest ]
Original signed valid passport for yourself and each accompanying dependent:

· Each person, including minor children, must have their own passport and there must be at least two blank pages in each passport

· Ordinary passports are the only type of passport into which a permanent resident visa may be inserted. Diplomatic, official, and other special passports are not acceptable

· Any passport changes after the visas are issued will result in a Replacement of an Immigration Document charge of CAD $30.00 for each visa that needs to be re-issued.

· Passports that are not signed by the holder are not valid for travel.

Small question I have been requested to have police certificate from lebanon since i spent about two years thier but since we Are syrian we can get like this certificate or not from Lebanon ? and I was went in and out each 6 months so there was no business Visa or something like this
Your help is appreciated if someone face similar request
