After AOR - what timeframe is expected?

Hey all,

I've received my AOR and the Sydney, Australia VO has received my application.

From this point it's hard to tell what to expect in terms of a timeframe. The CIC website has 21 months as a timeframe but that seems long to me. We had hoped to move to Canada in April 2014, but are we dreaming?

This is for the 2013 FSW program.

Yup you may plan ini 2014 but provided have applied under new scheme starting May 2014 and the new set of forms.

I've already passed the first stage if the 2013 FSWP and my file has reached my visa office.

Does anyone have a guess as to how many months it takes from this stage to be able to land in Canada?

I think to the best of my remembrance that Sydney Visa office is not under the strike action by PAFSO.
If you are lucky enough you might get PR by APR 2014.

Anyway can you share the text of AOR received by you from Sydney, Australia Visa office after file transfer occured

I received my PER on July 22 and AOR on August 9.

But, I do worry that this next step may take a long time as someone else has been waiting since Feb 2012.

Is the Sydney office on strike?

there r different set of guidelines/rules/processing times issued for files opened for 2012 n fsw 2013
2012 were those applicants that had arranged employment
but fsw 2013 is different.. hopefully files wil b processed fast this year..
n hope strike gets resolved asap
