Yes! He has been there for more than 20 days now and to be honest I'm not sure if he filled out a form or not but I do know that the VFS office gave my hubby a receipt with a tracking number.

Agar adam kas ra beshnasa da hamo Visa Office then I'm sure ke am paisa beta car ha faster mekona lol

Oh that's good they get a tracking number. Does it state where it's at. But 20 days is too long. If only they could go back home and have it mailed.

Yes,and if the 30th day is a weekend add couple of days more !!!

Do they have to stay in Pakistan or can they come back. Do you think at the border they'll see trouble without passport

Well they won't have a passport so I believe that they have to stay in Pakistan until the passport is returned.
I do know that they get a form stating that the passport is in the visa office but I'm not sure if they can travel with that.
TBH the tracking number basically updates 3 times. 1. it tells you that it was received by the Visa Application Centre. 2. It was dispatched to the Canada Visa Office. 3. It has been processed and sent back to the Application Centre where your spouse will be contacted to pick it up.

P.S. My hubby got his visa this morning. It took exactly 3 weeks to get it!

Hey guys I have a problem and need advice...
My husband has been trying to get a PPC from New Delhi Police Station and its been a nightmare...I dont know what to do..
My husband is an Afghan Citizen and he lives in India for his University. He had gone to the police station and they had said we dont make pcc for Afghan Citizens we only make it for India citizens they told him to go to Afghanistan Embassy. When he went to the Afghanistan Embassy they told him that they could only make him a Afghanistan PCC and not India, they told him to go to the police station...but they are telling him another thing...what do i do? The Canadian Embassy has requested my husband to send India PCC, and if he doesnt it can ruin our case. What do i do?

processing started in 19 May 2015
re-medical done on 24th March 2016


still its 68 days but i haven't heard any update my friend feeling so stressed

My husband did his full re-medicla in the beginning of March and he received his ppr at the end of April. He was supposed to do his re-medical back in December of 2015 but NDVO neglected to send the request until we did numerous case specific enquiries and I contacted my MP. So, there was a 2 months delay. Also, I believe getting into contact with my MP helped speed up the process a lot. I had to contact 3 different Mps and was finally able to find one that helped me.

It took 6 months to change to DM from IP.

Do you think the letter give by vfs when the passport is submitted would be valid at the border if my husband were to come back home
I'm so worried for him there.
