My husband got his medical request on December 2015 and he got them completed But on that website to check status it still says "In Process" so depressed :-[
Does anyone know how many times you can get a DM or PPr? :-[ ???

Does anyone know how long take background checks for afghan national???

According to CSIS it only takes 2-4 weeks to complete UNLESS there is a red flag and CIC has to look into your file and do further investigations. Plus applicant has to submit the PCC so that is also a form of checks. Sometimes there might be a long wait because of the fact that there are so many applicants waiting to be screened or if CSIS requests information from an afghan official, they take their time in giving the info etc. Hard to say exactly how long it takes....others might have a different experience, this is just from what I have gathered

process starting from applying to Qomandani amonye Kabul going then they will transfer u to ministry of interior affairs and last processing stage is in ministry of foreign affairs.
in ministry of foreign affairs they will ask you about city and country to where u need pcc.
