Hi Everyone,

I cant help but notice all the afghans in this forum and their timelines. It seems As if majority of the members have been waiting for 2+ years. It is Not suppose to take more than 17 months according to CIC. I Am fairly new to sponsoring. Is this just because we are afghans and they take longer to examine our File? I see other members that must go through New Delhi visa office and there cases get processed sooner. Due to high chances of not being rejected and since us afghans are always doing more than expected, I am sure everyone is sending all the documents. Thus Why is it taking longer?

i agree with what you say, but is there any other option?
i think it is not other country/people's fault, it is all our own fault, WE Afghans we did now we suffer. we don't have a good record to the world's eye.
i personally seen lots of difficulties for being an Afghan in other countries. why because am an afghan.

GUYS I noticed something really weird this morning on ecas. I dont know what it means or if its good news or bad. My application went in processed January 2015. But today when I checked ecas they changed it saying it went in process September 2014. I dont get it :S

Same with mine...it changed as well. I think they have made the processing date the date they received it at the visa office in ND
My app was transferred to India on March 2013 and now it shows that it started processing on March 2013 (before it was June 2014)

I got the same thing almost a month ago. They are just wasting time. That's all they are doing.
Just please everyone VOTE FOR LIBERALS!!!! We need Harper down and inshallah we will get our loved ones here in no time inshallah
