Salam brothers and sisters I need some help pls.. sponsored my wife from kabul.. she got email asking her tto attend interview on February 03.. my question is if interview goes well, how much longer does it take to be notified and receive visa?

I did MP inquiry and this is what NDVO sent to my MP regarding my husbands case. "In this context, certain background investigations are being conducted in connection with this application. As these investigations are conducted by outside agencies, we have no purview over the processing time. We are therefore unable to give an exact time frame in which we expect to conclude the verifications on this case."

Is it something that I need to worry about? I have already completed my 15 months last month. Does anyone know how long the background check takes?

What's your time line?

Interview was waived for my husband, He was asked for remedical on October and now my MP telling me they are doing background investigation. Is it the same as background check. Did anyone ever got this before please share.
