Salam guys,

I did MP inquiry and this is what NDVO sent to my MP regarding my husbands case. "In this context, certain background investigations are being conducted in connection with this application. As these investigations are conducted by outside agencies, we have no purview over the processing time. We are therefore unable to give an exact time frame in which we expect to conclude the verifications on this case."

Is it something that I need to worry about? I have already completed my 15 months last month. Does anyone know how long the background check takes?

I have been waiting more than 21 months and in December 2014 I have got my re-medical, so expect long waiting time because no body could predict what CIC next step will be.

Interview was waived for my husband, He was asked for remedical on October and now my MP telling me they are doing background investigation. Is it the same as background check. Did anyone ever got this before please share.

My application time totally became 30 months, I already did my Second Medical on, Oct-2012 but I didn't hear any good news regard to my visa. I also made an inquiry with our MP, he said they are working on your final review of application, you will receive soon passport request. It became 1 month since my inquiry but I didn't receive any passport request. I really don't know why they are doing this kind of difficulty with Afghan People. what is our sin.

I wish every Afghan brothers and sister receive a good news inshallah.

My application time totally became 30 months, I already did my Second Medical on, Oct-2012 but I didn't hear any good news regard to my visa. I also made an inquiry with our MP, he said they are working on your final review of application, you will receive soon passport request. Since you did your second Re-medical in 2012, how they will send you a passport request because with an expired medical you will never get a visa. However, the transferring of application from Islamabad to Delhi really mess up some application. On the other hand, I see people that their application has been processed in six months. However, we must wait because our primary Office is Islamabad and the Islamabad time line is applied to our application. Brother you could order GCM notes to see your file process.

I really disappointed to hear this, it is too long wait for you. As you said you did second medical oct 2012 it means it is already expired too. It mean you have to do remed again?? Omg why these people taking dear sweet time to finalize our cases. And if you don't mind could you please share your timeline.

As I told you no one knows how CIC officers are working. It looks like they select the application randomly e there is no line up for the application. However, you know it is sometimes hard to live without with your beloved ones, so we have no choice. However, I am also a 2013 applicant and my application just assigned to an immigration officer. let's pray for the best.

Me too I hope by the end of this month they finish all 2013 left cases. Seriously this is enough, by keeping us apart from our partners they don't know they creating khoda na khasta so much problems between. They are also tired sitting in Afghanistan and wait I feel them too. It is not right to keep husband and wife away for this long. Baz ham khoda jan miraban ast I still have hope for the best
