So i had my wife go to pakistan and ship her passport from there. now she is waiting. insallah i hope she gets visa soon.

First of congrats ! And the process is that she has to go to Pakistan and mail it in Pakistan, they only accept it by mail not in person and she MAST provide an address in Pakistan to get the passport back it has to be a phiscal address not a PO box , or she can attach a letter saying that you will come pick it up personally but still you need an address to recive notice that ur pp is ready for pick up! It could anywhere from 14-30 day

Pakistan time line is 33 months and very few people gets their visa in 15 - 19 months, and Mashallah your application concluded in 7 months though Islamabad, I can say that you are one of the luckiest person in the world.

No no mine was processed in india which all afghans cases are being processed if sponsered person lives afghanistan. they request her passport to be send to the nearest office which is Pakistan. india's processing time is 13month but average time is 10 months i think if you don't make mistakes. I did everything up front which took me about 7 months to set up appications and had 3 poeple in canada review it.

Umm its probably a team in that office. Maybe something like Family Class, not sure what R would stand for.

Salam Nick dear, I got a call from MP today, which make me so sad she said your file is under background check. And the medical has been received. They didn't reviewed it yet. She said if you don't hear anything tell January 2015 let me know. You know this things I hearing since I did first mp inquiry last year same time. I think they just keep us wait. For how long they do background check omg all our life.... I am so upset to hear that. Any ways I told you and sadafi that I give you a update. Khoda komak kuna With us. Don't know why we the cases which filed early 2013 or late 2012 it take them so long......?????

Applied for notes
Should get them by the end of this month
Then I will call the mp based on what information I get

Salam everyone

So i received my notes and it shows my medical status is "sent". I dont know what this mean. I did remed in july and it has been 4 months but no indication of whether they have received it or not.

I spoke to an indian brother who sponsored his wife from india and he just came with his wife a few days ago. He had visited the visa office in new delhi and he was telling me how laid back the people who look at applicants are. He mentioned how they dont give a !@#$ about the applicant. They have the ability to complete an application whether its from india or afghanistan within 5 months. But they deliberately take their sweet time. He also told me how stubborn they are and that they can rip a page out of your application and request another one just to delay your application. Most of them are Indians from canada working in NDVO. Im not saying all of them are like this.

Im going to see an mp to know what fcr mailbox is and inquire about my remed results...
