Dear Friends, Omid ast ke hamayetan jor va sehatmand bashin I just want to mention that my Application changed IN PROCESS on May 2014 and still I have not received any re-medical ,, or PPR, recently I have ordered CGMS and it may come within few weeks, as per your expeiences, is it nomal that it is almost three months that I have not received any notification from CIC ? thank you, khodavand kaar haye hamaye ma wa shoma ra asaan kona va ba maqsad ma berasana, choon omer da gozar ast ...

That is what exactly happen to my friend! She didn't hear anything back from them, she contacted her MP and they told her they already had send a remadical to her mailing address and a wrong email ID which ofcrz she never recived ! And las week they resend her a remed ! I'll encourage you to contact you MP again and just tell his this is what has happens to other ppl too and he should find out

have them call the doctor first. and ask for the fee because there is a fee. and ask what's needed. usually it was 300+ USD and you need passport and small picture.. but call and inquire.

I completely agree! Immigration requested a copy of my passport back in May so I sent it the same day my lawyer informed me. June passed..no word..July passed no word..last few weeks of July I got concerned so I contacted my MP. When my MP inquired with immigration they informed him that a copy of my passport was not received! So I resent it and now waiting for a response.

I am good Thanks, yes he paid around $340... i remember first time when he did his medical he paid $120,so he asked why they increase it so much..than the docter told him this is diferent from the first time med...
and he did his medical in IOM docter. There were two more guys,they had appointment too for remed....i don't know how yours was cheaper :

Yes, he went to same doctor before when he applied so in June for the remedical he went to him again and only got charged $148.00. The remedical was request to send to India ND.
I don't know why he is charging others $340.00.

By the way the remedical for the chest X-ray and filling out the form IMM...
This is really strange.

So I called the doctor why he charged $340.00 instead of $148.00 . He told me that it depends on the requested I get if it's only x-Ray only $148 to $180.00 if it's complete checkup so it's $340.00.
I'm still lost
The partial X-ray examination is considered remedical or full checkup is considered remedical.


So confused
Any ideas.

Dont worry no need to be confused. I got a remed too for my wife in june but it was only chest x-ray which was about $140 US and they also charged $70 US for the DHL post to New Delhi.
The remeds that are charged $340 includes all examinations and plus they send it electronically to India embassy, not by post!

Hahaha don't be confuse as I notice that my husband medical was full examination ,that is why he charged by $340.
Yours was only chest X-ray so it was cheaper ,and they only give your husband chest X-ray coz your full medical was not expire yet as I can see from your time line...

I am absolutely new to this so I would appreciate your help so much. Reading all of your posts has made me so happy and also hopeful. I sent in my husband's sponsorship application to Mississauga on June 16 and this is my timeline so far..

Application Received June 16
Approved as a sponsor and sent to India August 20.

Eventhough the application is sent to India Visa office now it still says Application Received. What is supposed to happen after this and approximately how long?

Get a new one. It is very easy in afghanistan to get a tazkira.
