Salam Everyone!
My Husband got an email from New Delhi today requesting the Right of Permanent Residence Fee and a Police Clearance Certificate. It said to send the proof of payment to the Office in Mississauga but it didnt say anything about where to send the Police Clearance Certificate. Also I swear we had to submit a PCC with the application? So are we just repeating the same procedure again? If its different then how is it different and how would we obtain this PCC from Kabul? Thanks for your help in advance.

PCC is only valid for 3 months I think so that could be why they're asking for it again.

Salam sis! I don't know why they're requesting the Police clearance certificate again if you have submitted it once along with other documents. It doesn't have the expiry date, the consulate in Vancouver told me to make photo copies of this as we only give this once...
You can apply for it in Interior ministry in Kabul, but you won't be allowed to pick it up there.. They will send it to your husband in Canada he will have to pay $80 fee.. Or your husband can take (or mail in) your Marriage certificate, PCC request form which can be obtained from Consulate website, along with copy of your TAzkira to the Afghan Consulate in Toronto or Vancouver.. It will take couple of days.. Its better to go in person they will issue it right away..

As for right of PR fee, your husband probably have included only one copy of it, and CIC in Canada takes that, you need a second copy for NDVO.. Just fax a copy of that one to NDVO with your Case number and file number on top of it..

Hope it helps

Hey thanks for the help everyone. =)

Nick_afg, I have no idea sorry :( however I have a good feeling about this year, I feel like the timeline for Islamabad will decrease soon and inshallah you will be reunited with your spouse soon. They should be posting the next quarterly update soon for processing times in Islamabad and I have a really good feeling about the "32 months" timeline decreasing.

I wish you all the best I will pray for you :)

Salam.. wow i think this is a good news since they already started working on your application i guess eh?
But the odd part of this news is that they are asking for PR fee idk if u had already paid it or not at the time of submitting documents ? Cuz u must have to pay that fees if u havent then tats y they are asking for it now.... in my case i paid my PR fee with couple other fees when i was submitting my docs and total become $1040.

There is someone in the other 2012-2013 thread who said the same thing as you did. He was also asked for the PR Fee receipt as well as PCC. Someone suggested they send in photocopy of the PCC and the receipt for PRF. Seems like that's the regular procedure for NDVO

And no i have not heard anything from NDVO yet sinxe they have transferred my file there in end of January 2014... im wondering when will they start on my/our files in NDVO and im also not sure now if it would take the same amount of processing time for us Afghans applications in NDVO which is 12 months or it would be different :S

http://goo.gl/CoH7Y here check the spreadsheet for New Delhi.. I don't know why you haven't received your PPR yet, I think you will receive it soon.. If you do make sure you have an address in India and just send someone to deliver it in person, don't mail it...

Omg i received a letter today from Delhi Immigration office and they asked my spouse to provide 2 things:

1) the proof of payment for the Right of Permanent Residence Fee to our office in Mississauaga or by your sponsor in Canada, if not already paid.
2) Submission of PCC for time spent in any country for a period of 6 months or more, if not already submitted

What should I do now?? Please anyone help me!! I already paid my PR fee and have submitted my PCC at the time of submitting applications i dont know what to do now:( ::)

Salam,
Dear sisters & brothers we know we have been all waiting to receive ( Medical, Re-Medical, Decision Made, Passport Requests ).
Even my family case has been running since January 2008... 11 Months Since my family did their Medicals but yet no PPR request ( one month is remaining for medical expiry date ) i am quite sure that my family has to do another Medical test also.
I know all are tired of this frustrated immigration process... but i hope all to accept an additional patient until this process gets finalized finally.
Sincerely
Your anxious Sister
Wajea
