Did you or your partner send your passport via courier? Or authorized something to go to Pakistan to do the submitting?

Hi Mateen,

He went to Pakistan and first he had to get a paper from an office (i will ask him more in depth detail..i forgot lol )
Then took it to VFs and within couple hrs he got an email with tracking number. When it arrives back to the VFs you know its time to pick up your visa.
I would suggest take a female elderly with you..wont give much hassle..as suppose going by yourself to Pakistan

I recently ordered my husband's notes and was wondering what those due dates are for eligibility assessment, and admissibilities (security and criminality)
Also, he passed the medical part and under Reason for Closure it says granted. Does he still have to for the second medical even though he passed the first?

Due date is the date when an officer will review your file again

Medicals are valid for one year they cannot issue you a visa without a valid medical even if the one that expired had a passed value

meds will have expiry date so its granted until then. if it expire they will re-do it

For those went to pick up their visa, did you guys do any biometrics? What was the procedures when you went for to get yo visa office? Like what you came to the visa office. Because I have a relative there who is authorized to submit my wife's passport but the thing is that it's a holiday and they said you need to do biometrics. After doing a quick research biometrics is only for visitor, study, and work permits only. Please could someone confirm for me?

as far as i know there is no biometrics for PR visas as it will be collected upon arrival in Canada, you would need your tazkira your passport and the letter sent from NDVO and visa fee. But its better if applicant goes there.
