Affidavits from family members for spouse relationship

I know these are required for common-in-law relationship, not in spouse relationship. Do you think that adding these affidavits would strengthen the spouse sponsorship application or might work in the reverse.

Doing extra things does not harm but sometimes it does through raising a question (why did the sponsor issue these unnecessary things?).

I am appealing a visa rejection for my spouse overseas. My laywer is requesting affidavit from my family member that introduced me to my spouse. I dont think it will harm you, you are just providing proof of a genuine marriage. Hope that helps..

I hope you will be successful at your appeal. I noticed that these affidavits are HEAVILY DEMANDED on the appeal cases and therefore might have have big weight. I think they might be necessary if there are areas of weakness in the relationship that you need to overcome.

I hope you got your case resolved with ICCRC.. I am also planning to write a complaint to ICCRC about being mistreated with a consultant.. hearing many horror stories on this front.
