Adress change during work permit renewal

Hello everyone
I'm protected person and I'm currently waiting for a work permit renewal. During this time I moved and changed my adress thru https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/changeaddress

As far as I understand this will change my adress for my PR application also. But is it going to change my adress for my new work permit thru gc key accaunt? Or I need to make changes in my application?

Please raise a web form mentioning your work permit file number to change your address. Else it'll be delivered to the address you gave while applying for the renewal of your work permit. I would also suggest calling IRCC after 4/5 days to confirm if they have received your address change request or not.

From my experience the quickest way to update your address is to call IRCC and check what's on file, then ask them to update it on the call. It is immediate.

My new adress already shows in the system
When I click change adress for example, its shows my new adress

My concern was having new adress on work permit renewal

I followed theclaimer's advice (upper thread) and filled the web form with my question and work permit pending application

Let's see)) I dont have access to my old house. There are new people living there

You can leave a note to the new tenant or the landlord of the previous house. The same thing happened to me. When I moved out, I changed all addresses but forgot to change the WP one. I realized when the WP was already issued and about to be sent to my previous address. I raised the web form but by then the WP was sent out. I did not call IRCC (my mistake, I did not realize that calling them was the fastest option). I requested my past landlord, and he was kind enough to inform the new tenant, and the tenant informed my past landlord. This is how I got my renewal WP back.
