My permanent address is in city A. But I've been working at city B for 3 years.
So in Address history, if I stick only to city A, will CIC doubt my work?
I'm quite hesitant to add city B in address history because all my documents were issued based on permanent address (city A)
Pls help advise. Thank you!
@pino1130 I need some guidance as how you have filled the address? Did u showed address A in address history and personal history> I am in same situation and need you inputs . Pls help me

My husband and I live at a city that is the capital of our state. However, he worked in different cities within a 260km range from our home (at the same state), and that's why he actually had "temporary homes" where he would stay in week days (work days), most of the weeks he would even come to our home in the middle of the week.

Do I have to list all of these addresses? That way it would have two addresses for the same period of time (times 5, because he has worked in five different cities)

The address is more about tracing how many countries an individual has visited in last 10 yrs. I think it is okay to just list your home address for your husband as he resided in same country. I am assuming most of his documents will also have home address specifically passport and unless there is any police case registered in those cities, I do not see why you need to list those temp home.

Hi, I am an Indian citizen but I took a job in Singapore for few months. However, I was mostly on site at Indonesia staying in a Hotel and used to visit Singapore only during weekends So, will this job qualify for address history or I should put it only in Travel history. ?

This might be a repetitive question but need urgent help please:

1. My passport has my address as the permanent one where my parents stay. My husband has his permanent address as his home in Bihar where his parents stay. We now stay on rental property in mumbai which is different from the permanent addresses. We went to PSK mumbai today and wanted PCC on current address(rental). So it got denied saying PCC can only be given on the address mentioned on passport(new rule since February). This happened today only.
2. So is it possible we get our PCC done for our permanent addresses that is mentioned on our passport, so addresses will be different for me and my husband.
3. And if yes, will this cause us a problem when we show address history of last 10 years? Because his PCC will be Bihar and mine will be mumbai but we will have many addresses in 10 years of address history due to work, all addresses are of India only.

Please help me, we have few days left to submit the application. Thank you.

Hi, I have been in Canada with a work permit since Aug 2017 and currently processing PR through express entry. During my first month here, I lived in an AirBnB home before finding my permanent address.
How can I process the information without any gaps when my first address was someone else's private home?
Also, for a period of 4 months (March 2019- July 2019), due to a forced renovation on the home I rent (there was a fire), I found a temporary residence while the renovation and went back when done. The contract was in fact cancelled during the renovation period and renewed when I went back.
Would you recommend I include the temporary home of 4 months?
Thanks!!!

Frankly, CIC won't care as long as you are not changing country. Address history is mainly used for determining the countries from where PCC is required.
Either you can give as per below:
Aug 2017 - you can give the AirBnB address,
Sep 2017 till Mar 2019 give the rental address
Mar 2019 to Jul 2019 - give temp address
Jul 2019 till date - again same rental address

or if you want to make it easy:
Aug 2017 till date - give address of rental.

CIC just need to know you were here in canada from Aug 2017 and they will check for your criminality directly. Only if they are unable to find your record (usually happens when there are people with same names and one of them has committed a crime, CIC will request you to submit fingerprints to Canadian Criminal Real Time Identification Services (CCRTIS).

Hello group members, I need some help regarding Address History. Suppose, my permanent address in India remain the same for the last 10 years, but in between, I have traveled to Canada for 2 years and Singapore for 4 months. So, how do I need to fill it? Please suggest if the below-mentioned Step-A or Step-B is correct? Thanks in advance

First of All,
U have to collect PCC from Canada.
Then, start with most recent address and go back to ten years...
For example:
20/02/2018 to 20/02/2021 # India
04/03/2016 to 19/02/2018# Canada
04/12/2015 to 03/03/2016 # Singapore
01/01/2010 to 03/12/2015 # India...
***It shall continuous and start from recent...Thats it

Hello i need help ....Qatar PCC Dates - 19 July 1986 to 7 Mar 2013 - This was how long i had a valid residence visa in Qatar however in between i had gone to India to study for 5 years while i had kept my visa active in Qatar as i was on fathers sponsorship. Do i put that information of being in India in my permanent address also? because it will overlap the period of Qatar PCC and i cannot do anything to alter the dates. They rejected my application last month because the PCC dates were not matching the permanent address dates :(
