it doesn't take a minute for a visa officer to log-in your e-cas account, type "in process", "decision made" or whatever it is, then log-out your account. As soon as he entered your status, it should be visible on the net.
Evaluation is done manually on the appointed dates allocated to you. They will not open your e-cas account unless they have something to change or update in your account.
So what's the fuss about the disappearing address? It's a computer glitch or the server is partly down for maintenance. and they do not do this everyday. maybe 2 weeks, one month, on regular basis, and whenever they are encountering technical problems. The system can detect technical errors by itself.
If you are playing online games, you would be familiar about computer glitches and generated errors. Sometimes you cannot log-in, sometimes game items are missing, or rollbacks are occurring. But the moment they fix, everything goes back to normal, the missing items are back.
I have been reminding others. If the disappearing address is not true for everybody in exactly the same way and timing, then it is not a system feature. No programmer would make such a feature. What for? Unless he wants to be fired by his manager for developing an erratic system.
At a time when CIC and embassies were approving a lot in a short time, people started correlating the glitches with the processing. Of course there will be coincidences because processing never stops, approval never stops, it is work they do everyday. We just do not know who and where these applicants are.
E-cas is a reporting mechanism for results/statuses. It has nothing to do with the processing of application which is done manually by visa officers.
If you still believe that e-cas or the computer system works like a crystal ball, that's up to you.
