Hi
I need to sponsor my wife from Pakistan, on the form IMM5406 in Section A does she has to put her name in Applicant section or my name as I am the sponsor?

Also who 's father and mother names has to be there mine or her?

And in the spouse and common law section who 's name goes there? If she put it there my name and at Note 1 it say If no spouse common law is listed in Section A read and sign below.

I Certify that I do not have spouse , common law partner, ex-spouse, or former common law partner.

As we married so I am her spouse.

While filling the forms, provide information relative to who is supposed to fill the form. For example, in the first link, the spouse would refer to your wife whereas forms under the second link, a spouse would refer to you (as your wife would be filling these).

I also am confused on this same question on the form even from reading on the link. Is IMM 5406 and in the first box is applicant...so my info goes there as i am sponsoring my husband? Then he puts his info for spouse? Then his mother and fathers info?

Hi there,
You are the sponsor and your partner is the Applicant, so your partner's name goes there along with your partner's parents, sibligs and children (if any). I also filled this form incorrectly- i think the wording makes it a bit confusing! Good luck

I actually took it to mean "accompanying family members", myself, so only put my name on there. I will have to re-send mine once it gets transferred to the VO.

Here does they asking if she had ex- spouse, common-law etc or they ask the name of current spouse which is me. She was not married or had common law etc before. We don't want to make mistake here so please help.
