Additional Family Info - Confused

Hi all,

I am a Canadian citizen and my husband is British. We have no kids. We are just about done the paperwork but are confused about who is supposed to be put on the IMM 5406 and the Additional Family page of the Application for permanent residence page. Does he put me down there, even though I am sponsoring him?

When it says, "You must provide the following details about each of your family members, whether they will be accompanying you to Canada or not." Does that mean all his english family, even though they have nothing to do with our move to Canada? At what point does it stop (i.e. do they want aunts and cousins?).

And do we need photos of all of the above, again, even though they have nothing to do with this?

Help!

Thanks,
Alison

Go back, read the instructions, on the 5406 he lists, his parents, and brothers and sisters and any children

Thanks PMM. We've got them all listed. Does he have to put me, his wife and sponsor on there?

And on the Application for Permanent Residence, page two - does he list all the same people again, even though they are not applying with us? Do we need their photos?

1. Yes
2. No, and only his photos.

You must provide the following details about each of your family members, whether they will be accompanying you to Canada or not

this sounds to me like my wife has to include her family's photo, even though I'm only sponsoring my wife
god... this is confusing
but it's good news to me, I thought i'm going to have to delay the application, while waiting for their photos to come by mail

I was just about to ask the same question , good thing I read this post as it didnt make any sense to me either , why would my wife have to fill in the details of the person that is sponsoring her .
