Also closing of application on MyCIC needs to happen before the stamping. Have you checked if there are any movements on that front?

I submitted to VFS on Thursday 14th Jan and the file moved to the Abu Dhabi office on Sunday 17th Jan (got a confirmation from VFS). No communication / movement since. The CIC status has not changed at all; eligibility: In process, Background Check: in process, Final Decision: not Started.

Do not worry. You will be okay. My one of friends got his passport back after three weeks. I believe you should get by 1st week of feb. All the best

I already have this info, my intention was to ask which one is best and how much was the cost, as I heard from one of the forum members that they charged extra from the said price at the time of conducting the tests, as in they informed him of some additional tests apart from the regular one's.

I did mine from Dubai London Specialty Hospital, Dr. Iwona.

Cost Dhs 725 / adult and 385 / child.

Takes about half day. You will need original passport, photos and Emirates ID. Carry copies of each as well.

Very easy and straight forward. At the end you will get your eMedical report tp upload to myCIC.

there is an email saying that the application has been updated. Unfortunately, we do not have access to MyCIC. Only my consultants do, so, no idea on the status. The VFS status has not changed, it's still 'is being processed...'

Has your MyCIC status changed?

The update email is for application closing and getting approved. Hopefully you should get a VFS update today or tomorrow.

Also when did you get the email? The email is generated exactly 24 hours after the change. If you got it sometime on Friday that means your application was approved sometime on Thursday and visa stamped.
