AHHHHHH When is my turn!!!!! I am on 493 :(

been in a pool more than 1.5 years. Damn frustrating!!!

How come with 493 for 1.5 yr and haven't been selected?

So now all those low level applicants with LMIA are gone (you cannot complain of that anymore).
When it comes to PNP nominees they do have their own quota. (this is stated separately in the yearly quotas). So if they issue more PNP, then they will issue more ITA accordingly.

Now we had like 2000 people called today (almost). And lets say that like 600 of them are PNP. So that is still like good 1300 left there.

And that was the static picture of 4 weeks collection of candidates on the top spots. Yes it will go down a bit, but do not forget that new people will always come to the system or the current candidates will improve their score.
I do not see any drop to 450 any time soon. I would say with this most likely ITA will go stay long time over 470 points.

Hi Guys, I am a newbie and I have a question to ask.

I received BC PNP nomination (+600) and currently have approximately 1030 points total.

However, I did not get an invitation today. Can anyone explain me how or why it happened?

Thank you so much in advance...this PR process is so frustrating

wait for upto 24 hours .you'll receive it as they have 1936 people they are going to send it to , takes time you know ;D

Anyone claimed 50 points who are on ICT and how documentations need to be be done in case of no letter from employer.

I have more than year of experience with same employer and current WP till Feb 2018.

Please suggest if I can claim 50 or not.

Ah 467 sucks. Hoping to have an lmia through soon, those 50 extra points will make a huge difference!

All the best to everyone waiting. Hopefully this sudden wave of students with high points and BC, Saskatchewan PNP candidates has passed and cutoff falls a bit

Hmm do you think CIC works hand-in-hand with Ontario for this whole thing. I say that because if you've noticed, draws usually happen a day or two after Ontario pumps out nominations. This time around nominations were issued this past day or two and usually the draws are on Wednesdays.

A lot of people on the forum said draws will not happen until the error message at the top of the log in page is taken out. However, it is still there.

This whole system is draining my energy lol

I think PNP gave nominations days before draw so that their applicants would not have to wait for another two weeks.

Anyone here is an international student with work experience as a research assistant while he is a full time student? And did he count his work years while he is a student as a canadian work experience?

If you are hoping to count this as experience, forget it. CIC will not recognize any work experience you had while registered as a full time student in Canada. Except the experience was outside Canada. So, TA/RA experience does not count

Damn. Now I am feeling like I am back in the situation I was before I got 15 extra points to get me to 476. Now 476 seems so far away.

Congratulations to everyone who has received an ITA - hopefully, everything goes smooth for you from this point on

Guys need help. Its very important.

In CRS Score Calculator:
Q6) -part 1- Work Experience In the last ten years, how many years of skilled work experience in Canada do you have?
I answered 1 year because I have been working as a retail store manager for last 1 year.

However,

Q6 -part 2- In the last 10 years, how many years of skilled work experience do you have?
Can I answer here again 1 year of Canadian work experience? or this one means foreign work experience?
It doesnot say foreign anywhere though. Please comment!

P.S: I donot have any work experience outside Canada ever before.
