33rd draw is happening right now. I just received mine.

Wait, this CRS is really strange how can one collect this much? if LMIA or PNP then it should be 600+ is there any way to reach this much?!!

I don't think there are more candidates between 534 and 600

Absolutely 90% + would be more than 600 as that range is so difficult! That ranges need maximum IELTS/ CELPIP score and maximum years of experience that you can claim

They are probably slowing down due to the high backlog... :/

This is a targeted "Only PNP/LMIA specific Draw", as they have to get priority over others.. This type of draw will continue here on every month. FSW, CEC's can't score above 500

This should not be a surprise though. After the backlogs with the PNPs..its only a matter of time before they start clearing them out. Eg. Nova scotia stop taking applications since last year Dec and Ontario since Feb. As the backlogs are cleared, more and more candidates are going to have over 600 CRS. I some how foresee this for a few more draws. On the bright side and for those who are patient...that should mean that more PNPs should be open soon and lower CRS scores untill the backlog happens again. Its a cycle ...dont be deflated.

Determination — number of invitations

1. (1) For the purposes of paragraph 10.2(1)(b) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the number of invitations that may be issued during the period beginning on May 6, 2016 and ending on May 7, 2016 is 799.

(2) Foreign nationals who, on May 6, 2016 at 12:47:39 UTC, have been assigned a total of 534 points or more under the Comprehensive Ranking System that is set out in the Ministerial Instructions Respecting the Express Entry System, as published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on December 1, 2014 and as amended from time to time, occupy the rank required to be invited to make an application for permanent residence.

Is there specifically something about May draw? Las year the draw jumped from 453 in April to 755 in May then went back down to 482 in June. I hope the CRS will decrease in the next draw
