Hello, everyone! We are currently waiting for our MR to arrive. I would like to know from any of you here who are applying and/or proccessing their docs to CARNA during these waiting times or should I wait until I get the visa? And also, what are the steps that need to be done first.[kindly itemize] I hope somebody can enlighten me on this matter.

hi m2canada! congratulations! when did you apply to CNO? did you do the BET? i'm waiting for their reply regarding my assessment and i'm anxious... i'd like to know what you went through if that's ok...

regarding reviewers, pm sutanali, he has lots and he is very generous... also download the COMPENDIUM from the site of CNO... someone on this forum generously said it's all there... it's their practice guide...

Hi we're on the same boat..I'm also waiting for my assessment results from CNO..when did you apply? Mine was sent last Feb.. Did you receive any acknowledgement email from them?

Meron CRNE review center diyan sa Manila. Just google careerworx. Bibigyan ka rin nila ng reviewer. Congrats for the eligibility and God Bless for your exams.

dec 2010 - i received a letter from cno which required me to submit verification of additional education, employment, proof of english proficiency and BET
jan 2011 - i submitted verification of addtnal education for my msn, verification of my employment (as ci for 4 years) and requested ielts idp to forward the result of my exam to cno. i was not able to submit the verification of employment from the hospital(because they are not yet done with the evaluation) and was not able to answer the BET(lucky me!).
mar 2011- i received the result of my application which states:
We have completed our review of your nursing program.
Decision: You have met the education requirement for registration in the general class as a registered nurse in Ontario. You are eligible to write the CRNE in Ontario.

i really thank god for this wonderful blessing!

dec 2010 - i received a letter from cno which required me to submit verification of additional education, employment, proof of english proficiency and BET
jan 2011 - i submitted verification of addtnal education for my msn, verification of my employment (as ci for 4 years) and requested ielts idp to forward the result of my exam to cno. i was not able to submit the verification of employment from the hospital(because they are not yet done with the evaluation) and was not able to answer the BET(lucky me!).
mar 2011- i received the result of my application which states:
We have completed our review of your nursing program.

congratulations talaga!... so your MSN degree is how many years ba? i have a MAN but i'm lacking the thesis part, yun na lang ang kulang ko... i already received my assessment and i got the same additional requirements... do i really need to fax them the OPTION FORM? or will it be understood that i will submit additional requirements if i do not withdraw my application? plus is there a deadline for the submission of the BET? from what i understand from your timeline, they went ahead and made a decision on your case even without the BET and other documents... i don't want to send a verification of registration to the state of vermont na kasi eh, gastos pa mukhang wala naman bearing... what do you think?

khai, hi... i applied last nov... they wrote me after 6 weeks, in jan 2011, informing me that they already received my application and verification of course completion... then feb 2011 they wrote me again and asked me to submit further documents, BET etc... just got it yesterday due to snail mail...

goodluck! i'll let you know what happens with my application...
