you may have yourself assessed even without a PR visa... however, you will be required to present proof of permanent residency, citizenship or valid working visa (i'm not sure if your live-in caregiver working visa will suffice or if they require a working visa that is particular to the nursing...

hello trxcis! like paulferrer, i am awaiting the result of my assessment with the CNO... i have removed it from my mind at the moment dahil last day of filing naman na for the october exam today, july 25 (if my memory serves me right ::) )... i intend to focus on it when my assessment...

the first step is to apply for assessment... only the CNO can decide if you need to undergo a bridging program or not... bridging programs, if required, are tailored individually, depending on the outcome of your assessment... i'm not sure about the entire length of the program but i think it is...

the visas are usually shipped out in batches... parang ang cycle ng VO is stamping ng visa on tuesdays, the following week i update nila ang e-cas mo then wed, thurs and friday they send the visas... visas usually arrive between thursdays to saturdays or even later... meron pa nga tayo dito na...

congratulations on getting your eligibility koji518... from what i have learned from other bloggers, the college considers the submitted BET, years of experience and additional nursing education in determining entry-to-practice suitability... being a second-courser does not make up for the 2...

assessment is done on a case-to-case basis so no one is really assured of immediate eligibility unless you have an MAN or MSN degree... it is best to stay positive lang and submit all documents you have showing your entry-to-practice competencies like current enrollment in a post graduate...

hello iluvbaguio... they return everything you submitted (except for the forms that you filled out) but they punch a hole on most of your documents (except your original certificate of registration and diploma)... you should get those from your agent specially if you submitted original copies of...

my take on the matter is it wouldn't hurt to let them know you are enrolled in MAN... kung hindi man nila pansinin, wala naman din nawala sa iyo, napagod ka nga lang at ni fill-out mo pa ang form and nilakad mo pa sa school... so if you don't want to do the leg work dahil mukhang di naman nila...
