im new commer on this thread..can you please help me.im planning to register as a nurse in ontario.i've read several times the cna website.but im a bit lost.where should i start?

can anyone aside from sultanali help me,please

to registred the first stage is getting the form , you have to send email with your basic detials to cno @ cnomail.org (remove the spaces)

they will send you initial assesment forms ....

hope it will helps you once you get those you may PM me if need any further info...

by the way,your CIC is london?does it mean you applied your application here in london?sorry,im just new in this site.im not familiar with their abbreviations..my location is UK as well.

yes i have applied in uk and my current location is london...

nothing is easy in this world .. but its a man who make it easy

well if your uni is well reconized and ur employeer is well reconized you will hv no pro ... as mine application gone so smothy so dont worry ...

It' a regular registered snail mail.

I need to send copies of current and all previous job descriptions - they need to have you name on job description. We have generic forms so I got my boss to put my name on it and to sign and stamp them stating they are mine.
Copies of all nuring licences.

I sending all awards I have received, copies of all the educational program I have completed, even the 1 hour on line educational programs I have done.
Need to send to each previous employer a form, verifying your employment with them and request for reference - mailed from them direct to CNO.
Verification of licensure from each nursing authority were you have had a RN licence.
Complete a document outlining your nusing career, when and where you worked (they can then compare job description/licensure/empoyment:reference form from previous employers.

The number of hours you have worked in the last 5 years.

Complete 7 BET (Baccalaureate Eqivalency Table)- essays on Enter-to-practice Competencies, they send you 3 examples.


I'm sending everything that supports my training and experience, hope this help

i have 8 in reading,8 in listening,7 in speaking but 6 in writing..

can cno accept my score?its just 0.5 difference in writing..
i really dont know what happened in my writing..ive done everything
to support my essays and all..ielts exam is such a high fees for us..
and besides,.i dont have enough leave credits in our hospital to
spend another review and leave for the exams

well you may try though they usually dont accept it but i read some where .....that one guy requested them an they accept it ... but god knows better if he is telling truth or not .. jus phone them

I had sent copy its wasnt even certified lolz ... they accept it... becaue they alwayz get comfirmation from your uni ..

hi sultani..from what country are you from?

regarding the ielts, what will come first?eligibility or ielts?
can we have an eligibility even without ielts yet?coz i read somewhere here
that ielts can be taken even in canada,.or before final registration?
so that means before taking the exam? i just need the eligibility for now..but
i doubt if cno will grant me Is ielts needed in BET? how many
months will they process BET?

and..do you know when will they open again for the 1000 cap nurses
for canada? and what are the requirements? and how many months will
they process if you are just a single person?
