no
but you have to declare that you are in good behavior.
but need when you apply for PR or work Visa.
So if one have already landed and completed the proccess of registration, one can have that license to practice without them asking for a new PCC from the previous country that the applicant worked? Just for clarification. Thank you chandi2564 and also to those who wants share their views about this...

Is PCC required in RN registration, in anypart of the process and in any province??? Thanks in advance...
Based from my experience with CRNM of Manitoba, during the process of getting the CRNE eligibility, they asked for my Philippines PCC and my SAudi Arabia PCC where I am currently residing. After passing the CRNE, CRNM again asked for updated PCC's from Philippines and Saudi Arabia as part of their requirement for the processing of my RN license. I dont have any idea if wether or not PCC's are required by other nursing regulating bodies of the other provinces in Canada. But in Manitoba yes, PCC is required for each country you have lived for more than 6 months since the age of 18.

Hi Sultanali,

I have requested for assessment pack from CNO three times since december 2010.
But I didnot receive any reply from them so far.
I sent an email also to their contact address regarding this.
But no reply.
Can you please tell me how long they take to send assessment pack?
What can be the other option to get assessment pack?

Actually I already applied with CRNBC. Its on process. But I think we need to undergo SEC assessment
before we get our eligibility And it can be only done in canada. I have not applied for PR also yet as the cap reached for nurses. so I want to register with ontario

Please reply
