2024 Canada Student visa application from Ghana

I submitted my study permit application on 17th April 2024, Did biomechanics on 23 April but till now no information from IRCC. I used the old gckey portal. I did upfront medical in February this year.
No update with regards to medical, biometric, application status (We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you)., Review of eligibility (Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility).

Pretty much the same thing. Last update was Medical Passed on May 9,2024. It’s a waiting game unfortunately.

Same here. Submitted on 23rd April, biometrics on 26th April. No news since. Can we create a WhatsApp support group for ourselves?

Relax, mine lasted for 5 months before Passport Request.

I applied on June 21, 2023 biometric on June 23, 2023. Passport request on November 29, 2023.

Any update now? My sister submitted her study permit application on April 22. Did biometrics a few days later and still no word.

now we can see processing time is 10 weeks so she is almost there. Any update would be helpful

Order GCMS notes. What were reasons for refusal? What was program? How old? Enough funds?

So sorry to hear that. Get the GCMS notes so you can address the reason for refusal in your next application.

Order GCMS notes. What were reasons for refusal? What was program? How old? Enough funds?

The only reason given was lack of funds. I however don’t believe the applicant didn’t have enough funds. They had a scholarship and added their own bank statement with enough funds. IRCC doesn’t seem to have given any weight to the scholarship .

We reapplied last month she are still waiting for feedback.
