If you hold any legal status in Canada — citizen, permanent resident, refugee, protected person, or have a work/study permit — you CAN sign this petition.
Petition e-6601 calls on the Canadian government to:
Rescue dependents abroad immediately after asylum is approved
Fast-track PR processing for protected persons
Increase transparency and tracking in IRCC processing
Thousands of families are separated for 2–4 years, waiting in pain and uncertainty. Family reunification must be a priority.
