HI,You can apply in advance if you are the main applicant but IRCC says:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/medical-exams/requirements-permanent-residents.html
Medical exam for permanent resident applicants...
"You can’t get an upfront medical exam if you’re being sponsored as a spouse, partner or child. Wait for our instructions before going for your medical exam. The instructions will be sent to you after you submit your complete application."
But you can get ready -- look up where your spouse could get a medical & gather any of the necessary ID/documents in advance.
Best wishes!
If you mean that your spouse outside of Canada has received a request for a medical, you do not have to submit anything via your account. The appropriate medical offices will submit the medical results directly to IRCC (a way of eliminating potential fraud). Keep a copy of the letter and any payment receipts/documents provided by the doctor's office just in case something goes missing. Best wishes!HI,
I have received a remedial request for my spouse residing outside Canada, but I don't have an option in the GCkey to upload the medical acknowledge given by hospital. In my account it says action required.
would that be changed automatically or usually would there be an option to upload the documents of remedial like we upload ADR??
response much appreciated.
Thanks for the response, actually this is a Remedical request, my spouse medical was expired, since they delayed the processing, Just want to make sure, the status mentioned "Your action is required", would the status be cleared automatically once the medical is submitted by the hopsital? If you mean that your spouse outside of Canada has received a request for a medical, you do not have to submit anything via your account. Yes! It may take a few weeks to change once its receipt is acknowledged by IRCC.Thanks for the response, actually this is a Remedical request, my spouse medical was expired, since they delayed the processing, Just want to make sure, the status mentioned "Your action is required", would the status be cleared automatically once the medical is submitted by the hopsital?
